It has a legacy of kain vibe that speaks to me! Can’t wait to play this! I hope it has some kind of feature where npc’s attack your castle. Looks awesome!
Didn't know too much about the game other than watching the trailers i seen on steam. Ended up doing a bit of research on here and stumbled upon your videos. Early access should always be a cheaper price in case devs bail or unforseen events just ends up happening unlike some Devs that charge full price. So $19.99 as early access is a fair price and it'll help fund them as they continue to develop the game.
Very glad to hear they will be adding solo only servers. Though I am concerned with the alpha players not being wiped. I'm hoping new players will be able to distinct from old and fresh servers.
I hope they add more mount types, would love a giant spider mount :P I'll likely play on the regular pvp servers so if I get raided I wont lose absolutely everything...screw hardcore pvp servers haha no time for that I also hope they have A LOT of servers available...cause getting screwed out of playing on a server you've spent all your time on cause of the player cap would suck immensely
40 players doesn’t seem to be that much especially seeing you can have 4 players I believe in a castle together. If everyone on the server was grouped together that’d only be 10 castles instead of 40 castles.
Well if you have seen the map, I think starting at 40 is a good choice everyone spawns in only one of the 4 areas. So, 150-200 would be way too over populated. 4 per castle's 10 castle's on not a big map sounds good to me. You can easily set borders and not have to worry about 3 castles being just right outside yours.
Really hyped for this game, been following it for a long time now and can't wait for it! And I totally agree with you on the rift system from Rift. Honestly Rift is one of my favorite MMO's, I played it for quite some time when it launched and had so much fun in that game. The rift system itself was just really amazing, running around the map doing the regular things, then you suddenly see a rift and you run there to open, like just the effects etc itself was really beautiful, and the event itself was a lot of fun. And the invasions of course, when one planar started an invasion in the zone was a lot of fun. The Rift system in itself was such a great feature in making the zones so much more alive than zones are in most other MMORPGS, I really hope more games would use features like the Rift system.
Is there a reason why so many vampire games are coming out at the moment? I mean its awesome but i just ask myself because there were no vampire games for a long time.
If this game works out as advertized, it basically have several of my most favorite things ever. I mean do you have ANY IDEA how hard it is to find a good "build your own castle" simulator in videogames?
While I will support this game (love Stunlock) I am worried about the progression systems, which sound like a weak link. ARPGs tend to thrive on them and stepping away from skills and stats is a huge gamble.

Interesting choice of monetization.... That's actually got me more intrigued. Although if they add a battle pass I'm out dude, I absolutely can't stand them. Being forced to play an obscene amount for something you paid for that's artificially timed is an INSTANT game killer for me, if they go the Halo route where they don't expire then I'm cool with it but otherwise no thanks.
dont think that the "no wipe" thing will impact anyone tbh, at the end of the day all ur progress is locked on the server and most likely all the 40 player on that server would also be EA players, new player "full launch" player will most likely join fresh servers

I just hope as every RPG lover that they will not turn this intro P2W crap as many other games that did that and killed their own game early , make it unique make it fair , make it fun , put alot PVE content intro it , put fair pvp intro it without ppl being able to abuse party power vs single players like Albion did and no one loves it when he get farmed by 5 players parties and stupid stuff like that .... il buy this i rly wanna see what will become of this game

Def going to be buying this and love the content on it, but to even mildly compare what minecraft has become being only a 20$ game is Ludacris. "Body type" is what you adjust to switch between skinny/muscular/fat frames not your gender. Upside-down triangle and hourglass are certainly giving Elden Ring's A and B option a run for their money as dumbest game options. Can we stop being afraid to say man and woman?
I dont get it. You talk about whether its ARPG or MMO. And than compare it to WoW and Albion. But it seems to me that you don't understand what MMO is. This game seems to be solo game with option of running co-op ( server ) . Like Valheim. MMO on other hand is a game where you join servers online, and that is only way to play. So which is it?
Game sounds fun but I'm afraid that it is kind of like Valheim, so after beating bosses there is no more content besides pvp. Around 60 hours in pve means not that much of a content.
From what I understood from a different video is there will be "champion" mobs that you would want the blood of to progress your skills, and this would be random and not the same spot or enemy. I could be wrong though
I hope they will add stuff, because valheim is dead right now because they don't add stuff or nearly nothing. A good game like this one, is a game where they add new stuff, the feeling this game is alive and not a other stupid cash grabber.

Early access really should be free as we are alpha/beta testing for them and there Usally a character wipe on release date.

I mean it's such an ambitious concept. So i think early access is going to be a big stress test. More space may be added down the line

you level by unlocking new spells, I recommend having a look at LIRIK's vod on twitch who was able to showcase 4+ hours of raw footage

This is a good point. I wonder if they will split wipes between PvP and PvE considering those two groups of people have different goals.

Day 1 purchase for me. Full PvE experience to learn the game, then swap to a full loot PvP server.

Lost ark was terrible. No amount of slow pace leveling would have made a difference.
