    Great video, not sure I have ever seen a drip system just spliced into the cold like like that but I guess it makes sense when you're only doing 1/2 gallon per hour it would warm up quick. Do you just leave the valve on all the time or do you turn it on once a week to then shut if off the next day? As well, just so you know - the links in the description aren't working. All the best

      Yup! The drip is slow enough as to not altar the water temp so no need to heat the incoming water. I've done it both ways, leaving it on all the time and also turning it on/off. It all depends on the tank size, stocking and how much water you need/want to change.
      I'll check those links! Thanks!!

    Ok so designing on of these systems now with a slight twist going from a split faucet. My question though is what kind of carbon are you putting in there? Just loose stuff? Where do you buy that? Thanks sir

      Yup. Just loose stuff. I buy it on Amazon.

      Same here! It's the superior water change system in my opinion. No heating the water, no swings in parameters.

    How would you apply this method with 8 tanks

    • @TheFishNerd
      @TheFishNerd  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Multiple drip emitters. I'm running 12 tanks this way currently.

    • @joeprovenzano4362

      @@TheFishNerd I get that. But how would I run multiple drips out if that one tube that comes out of the carbon filter.

      @@joeprovenzano4362 oh gotcha. There are "T" adapters for splitting off multiple lines. Thought I linked them in the description but may have forgotten them.
