I have been digging on ANV for over a year but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. The knives I have seen look really well made and thought out. I like it!
I've heard ANV mentioned here and there, but they don't get a lot of time in the spotlight. Nice to see you giving them some love JB! Kinda odd it has no deployment, but there's really nothing wrong with a knife designed to be a 2H knife. I'm sure it's something the community won't go for since it doesn't tick any 'how many deployments does it have?' boxes 😆Thanks JB! 👍
I think it's pretty cool! Different than most today. I'm not familiar with that steel. What is it comparable to??? Thanks for the closer look. Have a great week!
The make same good knives. They do have models with different deployment options. Love their designs .Good to see you presenting ANV on your channel .!!!
I've heard good things about ANV. This one hits all my buttons, but the 2 handed part. A larger fuller or hole would complete the set. Thanks for letting us have a look plus the chance to win it. Have a great time in FL.
This one looks good to go, nice blade shape, comfy handle. I like that it runs on washers. Didn’t look too difficult to thumb flick... Thanks for the look, and the fun of a gaw.
It's a nice-looking knife I love the super deep carry ambidextrous pocket clip I usually don’t like frame locks but I am really feeling this knife thanks for sharing JB
It's a great looking knife, a mix of modern with a touch of traditional. Two handed opening doesnt bother me, but I carry and use a traditional along with a modern. To be honest my traditional gets more use during the day. Thanks for sharing BigRed be safe.
I like a good drop point blade, plus a frame lock, my favorite. Nothing wrong with a two handed opening folder. Not every knife needs to be combat ready….
That is an interesting knife, good looking too. I almost always prefer washers in general and often tighten them up so you have to shake them down like that. Thanks for the video, JB. Safe travels.
Good looking knife! Kinda wish it had a fuller on the backside of the blade too. If the detent isn't too strong one may be able to do a reverse flick just using the blade. Hope you have a great vacation with the family!
I like it.I grew up with SAK and Buck, so the newer stuff is a little bit more foreign to me than this. This is right in my comfort zone. AS a European company, I also understand why they are more geared toward the two handed knives, with all the restrictions over there. Overall, sweet looking thing.
@@BigRedEDC Love your content. Had never heard of Vosteed before you or Rough Ryder. I also blame you for my Olight addiction. Lol. Thanks for everything, brother
Interesting knife for sure. There’s been a few ANV’s i like. Don’t mind the two hand opening since i carry a lock back type of knife every now and then
They also make a couple different flipper models in Elmax, but unfortunately they run it soft. Had mine tested and the Elmax came in at 59.6. Not good for Elmax. I like the looks of ANV knives, but they’re a tad pricey for what you get. IMO Sleipner steel is so-so. The Sleipner I’ve tested has edge retention similar to 440C.
Interesting model, looks like you could put a thumbstud in there, very deceiving, haha. Never heard of the brand, looks like quality stuff though, gotta check 'em out.
It‘s not as we still were cavemen in Europe, let‘s just say we have interesting knife laws, demanding a two-hand openening for certain applications. Don‘t get me started. Also, Sleipner is pronounced like the „i“ in knife after the „Sl“, so like sniper, but Sleipner 😅
I am guessing that I am in the minority, but I find fidget factor overrated. I am guessing this was made for the European markets that can have locking or one-handed.opening but not both. Thanks for the review.
This is a company that gets completely overlooked by the community. I've been keeping an eye on them for some time. Good one JB!
I would agree Will!
Very nice looking blade ❤
Thanks brother
Actions not words... count me in
Right on Jason
Maybe a Kwik thumb stud? It’d probably still work well right on the handle side of that fuller.
Definitely an option
Nice looking simplistic design. I dig it. Thanks for sharing JB and you have to love an Affiliation knife.
Thanks so much Tim
Playing for you, my good man 👐
I have been digging on ANV for over a year but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. The knives I have seen look really well made and thought out. I like it!
This one seems really solid RJ
Nice knife definitely a good one for a lanyard to help get it out of the b pocket with that deep carry clip
Thanks for taking a look!
"Action not words" ="Acta Non Verba"😊
Yes indeed Bama!
Nice simple design! Looks nice 👍! Have a wonderful day!!
Thank you! You too Mike!
Good looking piece JB. Sometimes….Different is good! Thanks!
For sure Jake!
I like the way it looks. 👍🏻 Good show 👍🏻 thanks gor showing it

Yeah....that's why I wanted to get t on the channel! Thanks for checking it out!
Attractive aesthetics, looks like a crowned spine as well. Don't mind that it's primarily a two handed operation , thanks for showing 👍
Thanks for taking a look
I like the looks of this knife. The design is a little outside the norm. Thanks JB!
Thanks Granne!
Very clean design. Love that fuller!
Glad you like it!
A blade have never heard of. This has put them on my radar. It has something that glows so count me interested.
Right on Jeramy
Nice knife. But it need thunb stud maybe.
Thanks Dane
Cool piece! Thanks for showing it off, buddy!
Thanks for watching David
Very interesting design. Love the glow bead in the blade
Thanks for watching Brett
Ive always wanted to try out an Acta Non Verba knife. The two hand opening on this one is not necessarily my favorite idea. Thanks for sharing JB
Yeah two hand opening is usually a deal breaker for me
Could get a Qwik stud for it!
@@BigRedEDC wasn't that your nickname in high school? Qwik stud?

It’s definitely different. I like it. Thanks JB

I've seen it compared to both A1 and 3V
@@BigRedEDC Thanks, so much, for the reply!
I think I like it even more now! 👍
Cool knife!! Thanks JB!!

Whoa this 😳 is very different. Thanks so much for bringing this to us BigRed 👍

A very sleek simple design! Great video brother 👍

Acta Non Verba now on my radar. 2handed knives are not my jam atm. Liking their design language tho. Thanks for sharing!
Can always put a Qwik student on it

That definitely is an interesting looking knife. Funny how surprising a 2 handed open is these days. Thanks for the look!
It kinda is. Pretty much have gone away from it on modern knives.
This one looks good to go, nice blade shape, comfy handle. I like that it runs on washers. Didn’t look too difficult to thumb flick... Thanks for the look, and the fun of a gaw.
It's okay once you get the hang of it!!
A lot of interesting characteristics of this knife. I haven't seen Sleipnir on anything but Lionsteel. Cool!
Thank you so much for watching!

That's all you need in a E.D.C. knife. Very handsome.

Interesting. Looks well made.Well I hope Joe kasperek likes it because if you draw me it goes to him. Thanks

That's a very nice looking knife. Considering the rise in popularity of slip joints, I can see a lot of people liking this style of knife.
