No they don't. I adored the 80's Stryper, they were by far my most favorite band, but none of the albums after "Against the Law" (1990) have been good, apart from a song here and there. It's mostly Michael Sweet's solo project soft rock played in Stryper costumes.
I grew up in the 70s and 80s into metal but one day in my senior year of high school 1987 one of my classmates let me borrow a Stryper cassette tape .... Things began to change in my life. At that time I was introduced to Resurrection Band and the Daniel Band from Canada. God used godly metal to deliver me from the domain of darkness to the kingdom of His Son. Saw Stryper at Akron Ohio in '87 with the Hell With the Devil Tour. Amazing concert. Kids were shouting out Jesus name outside after the concert. My Spirit felt alive and refreshed. Bless Stryper.
I was 19 in 1987 and still wish I could have gone to even one of their concerts back then, so now I wait for STRYPER to show up in the TWIN CITIES, MINNESOTA and I Will Be There Rockin Out with STRYPER and JESUS for my 1st time. The thing I like about Stryper is the older I get, the louder I have to listen to them. 😂 Bloodgood was a great band too. They were a great band that loved Jesus Christ. These bands know their mission fields!
