No problem Rockie, I descaled it and it actually seems worse. I think I'll have to give in and send it back for repair. Thank you.

The same for me, after 4 years it broke down, water dripping fom the outlet. In my opnion, it is clear that the machine is designed to break after 4 years of use

Any idea how to fix sticky buttons or buttons that are fairly unresponsive. Icant get the machine out of descaling mode and I think its cos one of the buttons is iffy? Any ideas

We need a link to a discussion group for consumer electronic repair specialists. I had one broken because of a scaled up pump and another one where the buttons became deprogrammed resulting in the water stop running after a few seconds, so it takes 5 pushes to fill a cup. Anybody any suggestions?

For anyone having similar issues in only getting half cups (or less); faulty capacitors on the PCB (shown at 05:28) may be the cause of this.
However, before you open it up and replace those, please try the cup-size reprogramming or reset first. You can find this procedure in your / online manual of your device.

Hi Rocky - Brilliant! But how did you take the cover off. I have managed to remove the oval headed screws and can lever back the bottom of the cover but have stopped in case I damage the lugs.

Thanks Rockie - it was a bit tricky but your comments gave me the confidence to go ahead. Only broke one lug on the nozzle but that's not a problem. Found out what had gone wrong though - one of the moulded tubes under the pump had become detached, probably because the machine had not been de-calced and the extra pressure generated had blown it off.
Thanks again for your help and your really useful video.

Hi RockieSc, just wondering if you have any thoughts on how to fix a leak in this machine. I noticed a lot of water dripping in to the capsule holder. It's now become much more of a flow rather than a drip. Could it be a gasket or o ring that has worn away? Other than this the machine seems to be working fine Amy thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

      Hi,
maybe it needs to be de-calced? Or cleaned? I am rally not an expert at this. Made this video so you can see what and how it is inside.
If you can speak german see this vid how to open it up; th-cam.com/video/-MiH0MiNVxU/w-d-xo.html

yes, the heating module becomes extremely hot in a short time to make the hot water. And the machine is very small, so the heat can really get to it. The polymer materials are certainly chosen to resist hot temperatures, but the combination heat and leaked water is increasing the metal rusting process. I think you're going to see a metal clamp completely rusted that needed replacing. Or scaling prevents the water to get out via its normal way through the tubing. The water pressure builds up behind the scale and vapor pushes a crack open between gaskets and pushes out the water via an unnatural way.
