I miss the MTV of old.
We got it back in 87.
About two months after it was available to Europe.
I think kiss's crazy nights was the first video i seen on MTV.
That's still my favourite kiss song.

Video killed the radio star was the first vid I seen. Then I remember them following it up with Madonna, Michael Jackson, Bowie and more. I'm pretty happy to have been alive to witness it all.

You should definitely check out Adam and the Ants.
Adam Ant was huge in the uk during the early 80s. I mean, mega huge.
Prince charming and stand and deliver were their two biggest hits.
Adam then went solo and had a huge hit with goody two shoes.

I got more wrong than i thought i would.
I half expected to get them all right. I thought they would've been questions based solely on the MTV era.😂

      @@RETROOBLIVION Lol.
Me neither. Well, not for a long time.
I grew up on early to mid 70s British glam rock bands and Motown.
That's what my folks listened to. These day's though, it's all about the 80s & 90s for me.
Don't get me wrong, I'll listen to the odd 70s band, like Bachman turner overdrive and such like, but I'm in love with 80s rock, metal, new wave, and pop/dance music.

@@TheRetroManRandySavage I had some pretty old parents. My folks would be jamming to 50s music. Dion and the Belmonts and Doo Whop.😂😂

@@RETROOBLIVION my folks were still teenagers when they had me. They were born early 60s, so the 70s were their decade.
I don't recall my dad ever being into 80s music.
But I remember him getting into techno in the early to mid 90s lol.
He'd divorced my mum by then and he was always dating younger women. So I think he was trying to be hip and cool in front of them, driving around in his flashy sports car and such like.
He started spending cash on the latest fashion too.
Must've been some kind of early mid life crisis.
But yeah, my football friends used to love getting a ride to our games on match day, because he'd have techno blasting out the speakers.😂

Jami Gertz and Michael J Fox was in it.

@@RETROOBLIVION it was a no1 on the US rock chart.
Got quite a bit of play on MTV.
It's a really good song. He had some real talent.
You can tell his success was not due to nepotism.
