don't r1 spam i just use bk shield so i can guard break with weapon art.
@@cheese6078 Honestly, i fight more whimps using Twin-Swords than Straight Swords. Mainly because the overuse of straight swords made it very easy to counter.
Then again my Build is very tanky and i use Friede's Great Scythe. i usually burn down their HP bar before they scratch mine. XD
Imagine the joy that Host had when you helped him with that Dark spirit, only for it to be shattered in seconds.
To see the life hunt scythe used effectively made me so happy.
Still using it in 2021 on my faith/quality hybrid build
Because he used a fast weapon Prod was going for trading hits to outpoise, exactly the kind of situation you would want to use life hunt scythe in.

It feels like the ds3 meta melted these last few months. It feels like a LOT of people are using underrated weapons, for some reason the strongest builds dont seem that strong anymore.
I honestly think its just people got bored using the same old thing over and over.
Because the strongest builds would be a ball hair stronger but that felt like such a gap
1. People are honestly bored of the meta and dont feel like being the generic SS r1 spammer unless they Want to be toxic or are new to DS3
2. People are growing in skill with other weapons and are more willing to try out many different weapons and utilize them to better potential.
3. With people using underrated weapons, many wont know how to counter them and will be at a disadvantage versus you.
Kippo True shit, I'm using the dragonslayer greatbow along with Gundyr hallberd and it's danm funny, cause people don't know how to react when I start shooting with the bow in close combat.
It's sort of like fighting games, the top tier characters are good but get picked so often that their strategies get disseminated quicker and to a larger demographic of players, while low tier heroes can shine because of the unfamiliarity or awkwardness of them.
This just gave me flashbacks of the 2hr constant fight clubs on the bridge in ds2

Diss people who run away from your tears, lucerne and leo ring, and high poise. Those guys aren't great mages but jeez. Expecting them to take you head on is silly when you outtrade heavy armor dudes.
Dustin McClung theres a huge difference in playstyle between a proper mage vs a bad mage. If you know how to play full caster in duels, back pedaling is only really required for estus. Otherwise its all spacing.

Lucerne is a badass weapon, I have a crystal lucerne and it absolutely wrecks around sl120
Lucerne is better sharp. Counters are not affected by elemental dmg.
@@sadocommando2434 You're right, but honestly I'm not really going with a Leo ring counter setup anyways. I have 50 int 28 dex, A scaling in int and "C" scaling (I think, not 100 percent cant remember) in dex. I feel like it puts out great damage even when I'm not getting a counter hit.
There's always that one guy in the fight club who refuses to get down and just wants to mess with the host and watch the fights.
That guy is me if I wanna 1v1 I go to arena if I wanna troll I go to fightclubs.

Probably sharp on all honesty, but refined if you’ve got a good amount of dex and strength
When i'm the host of fight Club, i want fight everyone instead just watch them, but like a host of the fight club, i have to let them have the fun, so i let them fight and sometimes i fight anyone and end the fight before i kill them
Ringed knight spear. My favourite but so underated.
Its not really underrated, I think its in its proper spot. Its hella easy to parry, one of the easiest weapons imo. Still a very fun weapon regardless.

The one and only time I have healed in fight club is when an over leveled white phantom got me to 5 hp with his one shot build while I was bowing, and then I lost because the host came down to gank

I love fightclubs honestly hosting is so fun. Also my favorite way to pvp in ds3 is when multiple people are fighting me and that happens all time in fight clubs so win win

Using blessed weapon could increase the counter damage. I run a 66 str build with the warpick, Leo ring and 15 faith for blessed weapon and it trades well.
You should try the Irithyll Rapier.

Hate to break it too you but Blackless Raven became famous in the dark souls community for the highest player kill streak of 143 with the lucerne. Devs even acknowledge him. Record still stands.

Prod wipes out an entire fight club of eight people including the full-Havel host in a single invasion, if I can kill a two people in three hours of repeated invasions then it's a good day.
