This is the part-2 of our week long road trip from Olympia, Washington to different parks in South Dakota and Wyoming. Part-2 covers our visit to Badlands National Park in South Dakota (Day 3). We stayed in Walls.
Badlands National Park is an American national park located in southwestern South Dakota. The park protects 242,756 acres of sharply eroded buttes and pinnacles, along with the largest undisturbed mixed grass prairie in the United States. We recommend to drive Badlands Loop Road (Highway 240) and see the important Overlooks, if time permits take the Window & Door trails. Towards evening there were more active animals.
