I've worked in a emergency department for over 30 years as a nurse, and practitioner. There is a well document and defined injury in children called a 'Toddler's Fracture'. It is common in some children who are at the walking stage, and can occur when they suddenly twist their ankle and twist their lower leg in the process of falling.
My friend's daughter broke her leg as a toddler when her ankle twisted when she was walking up a step! It was awful! We're *both* Preschool Teachers, fully certified in everything and it happened right in front of our eyes. We called an aid car, she got a big ol' cast *I* got EXCEEDINGLY nervous when the Doctor told us about Toddler Fracture. As the Toddler Teacher, I had 7-12, one to two and a half year olds under my care! I was already on the verge of hyperviglence, THIS made me *crazy* for a few days, lol! I wanted to wrap my kids up in BUBBLE WRAP! Man, I MISS that job. I had so much FUN! I still know some of my kids to this day, they've all grown up so wonderful, and have even taken me out for lunch, brunch AND drinks, lol! It became a thing after one of them turned 21, they wanted to go for cocktails, then we created a regular little mini-class reunion! Some of THEM have toddlers now, and you can BET that they call me when they need expert advice, lol. "How did you HANDLE it?!" they ask. I'm like, "You guys were just so CUTE! It was a PRIVILEGE to help you grow!" (Aw! Now I'm sentimental! Time to go down the list and see how everyone's doing!)

I Took my son to the ER because i felt like he didn’t recognize me , after 4 different Dr’s told me nothing was wrong. They wanted me to wait until the next day to take him in . I couldn’t wait I knew something was wrong. He was a month and 29 days old . He passed from S.I.D.S . His organs started to shut down once we got to the ER .
First mom was high on something. Second is a dramaqueen....all that fake crying without a single tear and switches to no crying and angry and normal breathing....
I have a disabled 12 year old son. He has autism, epilepsy, feet problems, sensory issues and behavior problems. I have Borderline personality disorder, arthritis, back problems, insomnia, fluid surrounding my lungs and a blood clotting disorder. I recently got news i may also have cancer. I get medical help for all of my health issues and mental health issues. I also make sure my son sees all of his doctors and gets everything he needs. I am currently in school full time in an accelerated healthcare program for my bachelors degree and I work 25 hours a week. I have a 4.0 gpa as well. If I can take care of my child and do what needs to be done, she has absolutely NO excuse for abandoning her child to "get her life together". I feel NO sympathy for either of them. If you love your child, you will do anything to make sure they are taken care of and you will spread yourself thin trying to do the right thing. They are both lazy and abusive mothers and im glad they dont have their children. Those kids deserve a mother willing to give up everything to make sure they are safe, healthy and happy. When you become a mother, that is your job. to take care of and love your children.

Medical insurance, doctor visit co-pays, equipment needed such as car seats, highchair, baby bed etc... then, you have xmas and bdays etc. Plus if grandma works then the cost of childcare runs about $300 a week... Take away the financial burden, the emotional toll it takes to raise a child without trauma is insanely high... With trauma there are usually some behavioral issues to take into account.. which subsequently require even more active attention and energy. This mother doesn't have an ounce of accountability nor any appreciation for Grandma stepping up. I'm not just disappointed, I'm disgusted.

I'm not defending or anything like that, but when my son and nephew were 3 yrs old (25 yrs ago) my nephew had jumped off the bed and onto my sons leg and caused a spiral break on his femur. He had a cast from his chest to his toes, with a bar attached between the legs to keep them separated and positioned for healing. It's very rare that toddlers can cause that kind of damage, but it's definitely not impossible! 😢
My 15 year old daughter has a not too sure yet waiting for the fracture clinic for an appointment but either a fractured ankle or fractured growth plate she is a strong young lady but this made her cry she has had countless sprains all of these from playing sports. The hospital couldn't do anything to start with cos of how swollen it was an has to wait till it goes down. This is a baby with a fractured leg I am positive this poor lil baby would have been screaming cos of the pain

They all passed the test, but why wasn't the son on? He seems to be the common denominator in all of this. Why wasn't the grandmother asked if the son was telling her anything negative that would lead her to believe the accusations she made?
The baby grandmother is a sick and mean person for keeping the baby's from their mothers
How is she sick and see didn't do anything foul? She's been the one taking care of the children and has nothing to gain but their love, that is the world's greatest grandma.

Was she telling the truth about her questions probably but the first mother if she was high on something would not have been able to be tested. The second one you could tell she that her tears were real and that what her ex did affected her. That grandmother is despicable she was waiting for the right time to take those kids. I'm not saying the 1st mother was in the right because she was neglectful at the very least. The 2nd one you can tell was screwed up by events and misses her child. The grandmother needs to tell her son to f**k off and not come around until he can get his act together. Also the someone else in the family who would be much better than grandma should take the kids until mother 1 gets her act together and mother 2 can get back on her feet after what happened to her due to the ex.

A negligent parent is just as bad as an abusive parent. 1st mom showed 0 care for the topic until money was brought up. She did absolutely nothing by passing the lie detector test except confirming that she is indeed and unfit mother. I hope the best for mom #2. Hopefully she can work things out with grandma, because I do believe grandma does have those children's best interest at heart.

I think he is the one thst caused injuries to that child pam needs to be a better parent to her son how in the hell is she allowed to take in children when she dont even raise hers? She enables their behavior those kids need to be far away frim thst lady she took advantage of the secind girls situation and took thst baby that exact thibg happened to me with my daughter the social worker thst i trusted refused to give my daughter back to me wouldnt even answer the phone when i came to pick her up next thing i know my child is getting adopted and she has all legal rights to my kid PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST ANYBODY WITH YOUR CHILDREN once they create a bon with your child they dont want to let that go

Agreed. She just didn't quite know how to be a mom originally and unfortunately trusted her daughters father who used her and cleaned out her bank account preventing her from being able to successfully provide.. I believe she truly learned her lesson and got her act together. She seems sincere and to truly love her daughter.. the other woman, Ashley, doesn't seem to actually care about her daughter. She just didn't want people thinking poorly of her. To her it was always about her image, not her daughters well-being.

Both of the young mothers are very unfit. the first one didnt give a crap about her kid. she may not have caused the physical harm but you can se in her eyes theres no emotion unless its about herself. and she looks like shes on drugs. The 2nd one just wants to blame the baby daddy. and while he is crap too there should be No reason a woman doesnt see her child for three years.

She may be sedated but she’s definitely and completely incompetent.
Basically she shouldn’t have charge of anything because the only person she’s can care for is herself.

I'm not defending or anything like that, but when my son and nephew were 3 yrs old (25 yrs ago) my nephew had jumped off the bed and onto my sons leg and caused a spiral break on his femur. He had a cast from his chest to his toes, with a bar attached between the legs to keep them separated and positioned for healing. It's very rare that toddlers can cause that kind of damage, but it's definitely not impossible! 😢

My 15 year old daughter has a not too sure yet waiting for the fracture clinic for an appointment but either a fractured ankle or fractured growth plate she is a strong young lady but this made her cry she has had countless sprains all of these from playing sports. The hospital couldn't do anything to start with cos of how swollen it was an has to wait till it goes down. This is a baby with a fractured leg I am positive this poor lil baby would have been screaming cos of the pain
