  • Are you ready to fine-tune your variable force gas strut for optimal performance? Follow these simple steps to degas your strut and match it perfectly to your application's weight requirements!
    1. Mount Your Gas Strut:
Ensure the cylinder is positioned upwards to prevent oil leakage and keep internal seals lubricated for a longer lifespan.
    1. Release Nitrogen Gas:
Grab your trusty 2mm Allen key and gently loosen the grub screw anti-clockwise. Listen for the gas escaping, then tighten it back up. Release the gas in short bursts, adjusting until it meets your application's needs. If you have multiple struts, alternate adjustments for even pressure.
    1. Fasten the Grub Screw:
Expect a slight mist of oil during adjustment, it's normal! Avoid excessive force and tighten until bubbles cease in the liquid.
    Remember:
    - Protect your high-pressure Nitrogen-filled struts from damage.
    - Don't open, modify, or expose them to excessive heat.
    - Safety first!
Congratulations! Your gas strut is now perfectly adjusted, ready to support your application.
