    Wow, I've never had Rendang curry. Looks delicious and interesting with the Pandan leaves. But I'll wait till fall so I can open all my doors while cooking this 😁💚🌶

    I would sauté the sauce without oil since the coconut milk adds plenty of yummy fat…thanks for the recipe!

      @@WoonHeng You can pour everything and simmer for 3/4 hours & that's my late grandmother's style for cooking rendang tok (using beef). But you need to use fresh coconut milk. If you use can or box you can't get the similar one.

    It looks really delicious but from the video I am wondering if the coconut milk broke and split into its separate parts is that meant to happen because I once broke coconut milk in a curry and it made it taste really bitter

      Hi there, thanks for the question. I'm using coconut milk such as Savoy, which has 70% coconut extract. It should be thick and not those that are for beverage (which also labeled as coconut milk). Coconut milk should give the curry 'sweetness' and thickness. When coconut milk breaks apart, usually happened when the coconut milk is cold and added to the hot curry. But that won't change the taste unless the coconut milk is accidentally burnt.
