Remember, guys. This game has only been out for about 3 months now. It's got a long way to go, but it looks promising.
I'm glad someone said it... I feel like a lot of people forget it's in alpha still and not even beta. This game is a baby in comparison to most games that are out or that it's getting compared to. It needs time to grow and get more mechanics and content and optimization
Even less - 2 months and 8 days. People (on Steam forum) act like it's been out for years.

We all know the game has a long way to go. How hard is it to add cosmetic items like weapon skins, pants, shirts, warpaints, and face masks? Why can't they put those in the game for us to loot from the map? We don't need huge updates-just fix the existing problems and add small content. We've been hearing the same information for three months, and it's getting tiresome. The game is slowly dying. All that money, and this is their plan to fix it? Laughable.
No one forgets it’s pre alpha, we just expect more seeing they have a good $20-40 million in the bank on top of their existing funds.
I've been loving this game so far. I did grind it a bit too hard on release, and now I'm clawing for reasons to keep playing - but when I find something to do, I always seem to enjoy myself. Can't wait to see that first big update!

Toggle lean needed for sure! One of the biggest updates I’m waiting for, makes taking corners a little weird
The devs have a real problem with AI. It's the same problem Arma3 had with AI. On large maps multiple AI in multiple locations all over the map really hogs up server resources. That's why the last patch has the AI behaving in a duck hunt fashion at larger distances. They are trying to reduce that server load at the expense of AI performance.
The way we solved it in Arma3 was to use an entirely separate server to control AI function. While I'm sure they are trying to avoid this because it's more expensive and technical. In the end it would allow the devs the resources to truly bring the game alive the way they've been talking about. Hopefully they can figure it out.
Don't know about the Arma engine, but in UE5 open world AI can be incredibly expensive on the CPU. I'm assuming they're using behavior trees and the AI is all programmed in C++, but still, I can't imagine how much of a pain in the ass AI optimization can be in an online game like this.
I need to see something like a timelapse of that skybox!
Still very happy playing a few hours here n there solo. Very patient hoping optimisation work ahead of any new content.

Has there been a wipe yet? I completed the missions like a month ago and not played since
I absolutely loved this game upon release and watched streams pretty much all day while working. When it basically became unplayable due to people camping LZ's, one-shot headshot AI, no loot to keep players motivated and players finding ways to cheat and exploit weaknesses in the game... It was just so disappointing, and with new releases like ABI and now Delta Force, it's just got totally forgotten.
I think the game has massive potential, and maybe the devs were just too ambitious and had to rush the game out to release too quickly.
I just hope they fix issues and get players coming back ASAP.
I'm 100hrs into the game and been loving it.
The fact that the devs are actually listening to the input of the users goes to show they want to put out an actual good product.
I can't wait to see the state of the game by the end of the year, but i'm here for it and i'm not leaving anytime soon!
I’ve not played since launch how stable is it now? Last time I played it was almost unplayable. Deffos want to give it more chance though!
What can I do if I lose all my gear and have no money? Do they have SCAV runs yet to get gear?
Been loving the game. Only play Joint Operations. Still having a blast.
I highly doubt that a game as detailed as this will only have full moon nights. They will most likely have every lunar phase, which means a lot of pitch-black nights.

One of the best things about this game is that the AK's aren't fucking overpowered. In real life the M4 family is vastly superior to the AK so, I am happy to see the stats in the game more reflective of real life. That said, yes they should be more effective on the AI for sure. A bullet hits you in the head, you're dead. Whatever the caliber. Just keep the accuracy profiles the same and I'm good.
I’ve been playing this game everyday it’s sweet!! If you’re having frame issues turn on vsync!! Yeah it throttles you to like 30fps but there’s 0 screen tearing and it’s super smooth!! Hope this helps
Just started last week. Only level four and taking it slow. Don't usually play lots of work in progress games but this is more on the gameplay than story so I can tip my toes already. I'm enjoying myself even if the performance ain't the best.
Gotta try without VPN, if it would help with the stuttering enemies. Luckily they aren't there every time.
I'm interested in the day and night cycle because of how damn bright Greyzone is lol.

I would to see more stealth tactics implemented. I've tried so hard to be tactical and try can't achieve the feel I'm looking for. I would love to have a ghillie suit that can make stealth missions a breeze
Guess it will be much darker in the forests where the moon light is blocked by trees. And inside buildings without lighting
So many TH-camrs way over-hyped this game but they will never admit it - especially Westie!
I feel like ammo balancing will come with a bigger patch update. Also making money, there should be a side missions like “ Kill enemies at YBL” it has to be on PvP, so you can gain money and reputation for the vendors. I can’t wait for their fixes and content that has to come. Great video Crash.
side missions need not only on PvP, just need to separate stashes from pvp and pve
@@renegaderu5126 I don’t think they will ever separate the stashes between PvE and PvP servers. But I guess side missions or better loot can be made for the game.

I just want a chopper ^^ thats all I ask for. It was fun flying the first ten times, but now its just a hazzle and having to wait 5-10 minutes at peak hours to even leave the camp is getting annoying.
They really need to address that issue soon
Have they fixed the issue with dead pvp servers? Haven't played in a few weeks because every PVP server id join would only have your faction. We even ran to the other bases and confirmed this a few times.
PvP will probably be dead until they solve the LZ camping.
About the ammo the m855A1 5.56 is still goat but i actually enjoy 5.45 on the AK74 also. I'ts also where you actually hit your target. Seen alot of gamers complain about the game when they are making misstakes themselves. Im looking forward to new weapons and ALOT of smgs and MYBE LMG. And that you can add secondary scopes and lasersights and flashlights and compensators and so on. More Tarkov weapons. About the AI it's not only bad , i havent had theese immortal cyborgs yet but being in a squad helps ALOT.

I think they should change scope zoom scroll speed. It's way too slow. Weapon balance is awful. Shotguns and snipers need a huge buff. I've literally shot multiple AI point blank in the chest 5 times with sabot slugs and they don't go down lol

For me it’s the staleness lately. I know the game needs performance bugs n I’m happy they are working it while I take a little break. Hopefully we can loot stuff soon that would peak my interest to extract with.
working on day night cycles with lights and lasers but we cant shoot through leaves or windows... seems logical. we wont even talk about the AI or keys.

I would love controller support. Got some nerve damage in a few of my fingers, and my dexterity for using keyboard controls is somewhat difficult at times.
can't you do this through steam inputs, a bit of faffin about but I'm sure it can be done.

If ai can bloodhound and one shot me thru bushes a mile away how much worse will night and bushes be?
Something they shoul be fix ASAp now with this night and day cicle. The AI need to stop screeming every time you headshot them with a weapon+ silencer. There is no point for using silencer at the moment.
To me the ak works when you use the maximum ammo type. All the way to the expensive type will work marginally worse than average 556. Ammo type is way more important for the ak
4:50 - My experience with 5.45 has been really solid actually. I think this is more from understanding how the game handles MOA and less from the getting lucky with good hit reg/servers. The 5.45 rounds travel extremely slow compared to 5.56, and in this game, all guns at 100m distance with a 100m zero will shoot low and to the right of your point of aim VERY consistently with basically zero randomness in that pattern. This means if you know what you're doing, you can absolutely shoot a 0.5MOA group out of a 3.2MOA gun. This low and to the right behavior is more apparent the slower the bullet travels and is also exacerbated by distance. The 200m zero solves the elevation problem at 100m so all I do to drill bullseyes is hold slightly up and left of where I want to hit as opposed to VERY up and left with the 100m zero. I've consistently hit headshot snipes on bots that are 250+ meters away because I know where to hold to get that hit (hint, the red dot on my Razor scope is nowhere near the body of the bot at that range). A lot of ppl have been misdiagnosing the AK platform bc they're so used to their 20" M4's that spit out rounds at roughly 3,700FPS compared to the 2,600FPS of 5.45. When the round is moving at 3,700FPS you don't really have to worry about the left edge hold or even bullet drop at almost any range. I met someone in the GZW discord that wasn't even aware bullet drop existed in the game because all they use is a 20" M4 lol. I don't ever really have to mag dump AI either (it does happen with desync but VERY rarely and I just find a new server) because I understand height over bore in close range. I think 6:25 in this video is a really good example of where height over bore can cause you to have to shoot an enemy more than once or twice. If you watch the clip in slow mo, you can see from the blood how low those impacts are hitting the bot (in the stomach) you're shooting at due to height over bore. At that range your dot needs to be about bottom of the neck level to send those rounds into the heart/lungs. This is exactly where you ended up placing your dot on the second spray that finally took the bot down and he died within the first two shots of that spray. IRL if you send rounds into someone's stomach they're out of the fight, but in this game, you really do have to hit hear/lungs/head to get a reasonable time to kill.
There aren't enough options. I don't care how good the AK could be. Does it have a 60 round mag? No? Well, then I'm going to use the M4.
@@brandonerwin7031 I fully agree that the AK platform needs more attachments (namely barrels that help bv). I also agree that the M4 is 100% easier to use. The point I was making is that there's several tweaks (mainly to how zeros and MOA work) they could make that would mitigate player confusion and misdiagnosing things that are going on. They could also create a guide or something explaining ballistics to players so they know why one weapon feels a certain way compared to another. The M4 is only fun for me for about 30 minutes because I feel unkillable with it. It makes dealing with AI and other players trivial at any distance. I'd like to feel like I might die when I go out on a mission. I think a lot more people would use the AK's if they knew how they worked instead of avoiding them because they think they're "bugged" right now. If ppl don't use a gun because they don't think they're good enough to do well with it, that's okay. There's guns like that in every FPS game. If people avoid a gun and only use one specific platform solely because they think there's a bug with all the other weapons when there isn't, the knowledge should be shared.

@@kayshell66 I don't think you produce content, but it seems to me that you need to try to shoot a full-fledged video on the topic of balistics in the game, with examples, visually.
I also want to add that at the moment PMCs are Western, and all supplies of tuning for AK come from the black market, so the choice is meager, although I expected even less, since some Russian-made parts are presented, which in fact do not sell much for export.
If there is no working supressor I dont need day and night also if there is no lamp or night vision and a laser. So lets see whats comming…❤
Wow dude I use toggle ads because my right Mouse click sensor has gone out from constantly having to hold down the right click button don't hate, some of you will probably say just buy a new mouse but I use a Roccat Nyth which they dont make anymore and cost upwards of $300 to $2k. I could probably find a right click switch but I'm not technically inclined enough to preform the replacement myself, which finding someone to do the work is also expensive. I've use the same mouse for about ten years now and no other mouse even compairs to the Nyth imo, so unfortunately toggle ADS is the only way I can play FPSs

@@GageCahoon Proper night like what Tarkov used to have and what Stalker has. Pretty sure I saw game play over a month ago already from night time and that was stupidly mild.
In real darkness you can see maybe few meters in front of you and silhouettes further away. And your eyes keep playing tricks to you when you try to focus something which is further away, not that can or should be implemented in games. Now that I think of it, isn't that bit like noise that you get from nods. Heck I once walked face first to a thin tree while on patrol :)
I have worse than normal night sight but still rarely people have those Afghan eyes that games make it seem.

40 series is the secret. Getting 110-140 fps with everything on epic and using frame generation on a 4070 super oc. Ryzen 5600x and 32 gig ram
Can’t wait to get shot in the face by an AI that randomly detects me with his back turned on the other side of some bushes at night instead of day.
That being said this is the most fun I’ve had with an extraction shooter and I can’t wait to see how it evolves.
Agree with ammo and weapon balancing. Even AP 7.62 rounds are weak. I am mag dumping AI. Night and day is nice but i think its a little early. I would like to see the fixes addressed asap. Shared task progression will be a vital implementation for future in game additions. such as world events, world pvp events and etc... ;)
This game is so fucking good idc what anyone says. It’s an early access release that’s been out 3 months and is attempting to do something no game has ever done. This isn’t a AAA studio. Still already better than most AAA games out currently. All these haters are goofy as hell sorry it won’t run on your GTX 970

Why are people that excited for day/night? It's really not adding much to the game. It will just be dark.
I'm more interested in actual content. New mechanics. New locations. New weapons. Dynamic tasks. You know, a reason to play the game beyond the story tasks.

They should fix the bugs that the new update pretended to fix. As an example, the flying soldier in Midnight Saphire, is not just flying again but the aim when flying is deadly. Should be fixed but it’s worst. Vegetation bugs, keys, impossible angle single shot kills. Nothing changed. Even weapons from NPC’s are now going in wall’s everywhere.
i treid today M700 sniper and i will not run it again and will sells them to vendors. when sniper not kill AI with one shot then they should refine gun handling. because when shot the sniper for 2 second you are blind until you can shot again. this make sniper useless.
The AI will one-shot you at 400 meters with iron sights while wearing flip-flops. They will shoot you through trees and bushes because they have x-ray vision. They can be shot 20 times and still be 100% capable of spinning around and deleting you. If these game-breaking issues are not addressed soon, the game will die. There were less than 1000 people online last night. Over a million people own this game...
Use the FEEDBACK on the game if you have ideas.
Crafting, selling valuable items... I'm worried this game will become a homogenized cluster of rehashed ideas and lose its identity. What's so bad about being a PMC that takes missions and doesn't care about crafting or picking up a golden cat statue? There are ways to do things differently and achieve the same effect, so I hope they focus on what makes the game stand apart from others rather than add things that players suggest. You can't count on player suggestions for good ideas -- that's what a talented creative director is for.
I'd like a death marker on the map to help locate my body on a dead run.
5.45 is just not good...I'm at the point where I'm just messing around wth 5.56 FMJ and killing AI at Tiger Bay mall and Sapphire is not difficult and just fun spraying them down. But for some reason using the good ammo on 5.45 feels worse than 5.56 fmj
For me, sniper rifles are completely useless. Above 400m, nothing is rendered. And the 7.62 does almost no damage. With the m4 and 556a1 ammo, one shot is enough, plus it has a magazine with 60 shots
With all that money, why is the team still so small? At this rate, it might take 10 years to reach 50%... What a waste.
Having a small team isn't a bad thing and plus having a bigger team may be ..diffrant..mayb they wanna keep it there little circle so the game dosnt change
we need the vram to be around 7 or less i have a rx 7600 8GB with fsr around 130 fps and a round 80 to 60 when aim in that need to be fix
To be fair, you have a pretty low end $300 card. Expecting more performance than you're currently getting from an open world persistent environment game with loads of AI and several other players on a HUGE map all running on the UE5 engine is a little much lol.
