I only learnt of Yin yoga recently through you, thank you! I do it a couple of times a week. It has helped my aches and pain relief without taking medications. I find it relaxing, calming and healing spending that time with you. Your voice is very calming. I’m 76 yrs old, so staying flexible is important to me!
Absolutely loved this class as always. Really relaxing and fantastic for joints. I have been doing yin yoga for over a year now, and I am the most flexible I have ever been, even with peri menopause stiffness and joint pain. I don't know what I'd do without these classes. I do one every day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these amazing sessions. I am so grateful you do these for us all ❤
I think I love you! This is the first time I have done a yoga video when I didn’t hate the instructor by the end. I often can’t do the poses but you gave excellent options. I can’t believe this video doesn’t have more views. You are awesome and this I exactly what I needed.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and the way that you do that - relaxing, and with advise for adjustments so that everyone can choose the right position for themselves for that moment. That's the true gift 💝
Wonderful sequence to release any stiffness especially as I have a little arthritis in my right hip. Loved the use of the wall for some of the poses too. As always, beautifully guided and so informative about how each pose helps to relieve any pain. Thank you Devi for your generosity in sharing your wonderful wisdom.
Dear Devi, thank you so much for sharing your videos! They help me to relax very well after work. I look forward to the next ones, best regards from Germany
I was diagnosed in 22 with cox and knee artritis and got stacked in my back with discopathy. Since I do yinyoga every day from end 23 I feel such a relieve. Thx ❤😊❤.
I recently got diagnosed with arthritis in both hips. I will be doing this video every single day! The pain pills I was given don’t work and my doctor refuses to prescribe either a higher dosage or a different medication. I’ve been following you and doing your videos for over a year. I always click Like and am subscribed. You are excellent and amazing at what you do. Thank you for addressing this issue. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for a great practice. Love the timer and the description of the movements. It lets me know I am getting equal time on both sides of the body. Thank you for not talking so much throughout the practice. Finally an instructor I like. 😊 will be coming back for more. I also referred you to my patients. They have young onstage Parkinson’s. Your practice will be great for them.
Recently completed your 30-day challenge with some longer sessions thrown in as time allowed. I am so much more flexible, comfortable & with far less joint pain, despite 4 days/week lifting weights. This is exactly the mix needed for my 60yo body! Thank you
Amazing sequence and so thoughtfully targeted, thank you Devi. Just back from India. It feels so nice to be back on the Yin mat with you. I also liked the information you share about our precious bodies…
I am on a journey to live more embodied and your classes always help me so much to feel what is best for my body. I always feel so light and buzzing with new energy at the end of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤
Thank you for your video and your service to everyone's health - much appreciated. (here comes the AND) And the greatest discomfort I have ever experienced in a yoga has been yin yoga class. Holding poses for more than a minute and lying on a hard floor with only a thin mat as a cushion between the floor and my back - ouch! Does Yin Yoga involve some level of discomfort? (Like meditation, Yin yoga is promoted as a blissful experience) Am I to power through the discomfort? In person, I found myself holding the pose for as long as was comfortable returning to Hero's Pose to wait for the transition to the next posture. I would be curious about your thoughts on this aspect of Yin Yoga.
While some people describe the sensations of yin yoga as being uncomfortable, it is not the most common experience. Most people feel melty, relaxed and spacious. If your predominant experience is discomfort you might try different variations or proppings until you find a modification you can relax into.
@@DeviDalyYoga Thank you for your well-considered response. After working with pillows, bolsters, and straps with little relief, I will explore the possibility of chronic inflammation as the culprit. Namaste.
Oops I didi not pay attention to the text, otherwise I would not have participated because I do not have stiffness or pain, nevertheless this lesson served me very well, thank you
Your channel should have more subscribers. I like your practices because they are very well thought out and healing. Thank you.

Hi Debbie, how are you? Do you suggest Yon Yoga before or after a meal?
Before a meal is preferable ☺️

What about stretches for the ankles, and wrists, neck 😊
