I've been told if you are a nurse, doctor,policeman, or fireman, you are helping and saving people. You can do this on Shabbat. You just try not to work every Sabbath or trade days with co-workers.

So if you keep the oven on warm durning friday night you can use it on the Sabbath. ?

@unlearnthelies Also, is watching TH-cam videos that were uploaded on Sabbath as well as ads popping up during Sabbath okay? Or must I avoid them too? Since most videos on youtube (except Lives) are scheduled and I am not actually buying the ad but I am causing a transaction by watching it (if i cannot skip it such as on a TV).

@unlearnthelies What about messes my kid makes during Sabbath even if it covers the entire floor making it difficult to walk? Shall I just push it over or walk on legos? That is a mess I could not clean up during or before Sabbath. And what about taking one thing like a book or other item down from one floor in the house to another as i need to go down anyway already. (it just rides along)..is that work?
