Louis's hair gets messed up in every video, but then later when he grew it out I feel like their hair stylist must have banned him from touching it because it's always perfectly "swooshed" to the side.
i think another big reason why they didn’t win is probably because most of their fans were under 18 and too young to vote other than that, people have a theory that the votes for x factor are sometimes rigged anyway (especially when it comes to the final 3). it is said that simon may have dictated that the boys placed 3rd nomatter what, so that they don’t automatically get the record deal that comes with winning, but instead can be offered one by simon out of his good heart while also making them think that they were lucky to even get a deal at all considering their lower placing in the final. this also meant that he could get them so desperate to sign a deal so that they’d be more likely to agree to risky terms. they were so young and naive that they probably missed out on, or didn’t consider the meaning of so many of the contracts and legal agreements - they signed off so much of their lives and free will after the x factor. but then again, it’s just a theory - we know they signed unjust contracts regardless of how they arrived there

Many cool things have happened during all these years and many more wait for us, legendary moments, proud and iconic moments but nothing will ever beat fetus era. This period of absolute happiness, disbelief of their luck and first success feeling. They were young and naive and honest. This will never come back and that's why I'm sad.
