I just rewatched full house, and The Nanny, and GIRL. The feels I feel are feeling. Like I’m a kid again watching nick at night. So much comfort
Resellers are some of the absolute worst people for me. I cannot stand them. I cannot stand their justification for why they do things. I cannot stand the fact that they sometimes honestly outright mock people for not being able to afford the things that they are reselling for Triple the price.
I love Gilmore girls and you made the perfect point about if you didn’t have a decent childhood that the show makes you feel like a warm hug.
One of my most favourite shows was "The Nanny" with Fran Drescher, but this one has laugh tracks in it. Its a little old school, but family friendly and "fuzzy-warm-worth" to me ;). Thank you for testing out this product, I had a bless watching this video!
Hey Aislinn, I just wanted to share something I just found out about bleach. Lately I've been seeing people using 10 vol when bleaching instead of 20. So I decided to try it myself since I wanted to go blonde. For the first bleach session my roots are the exact same color as when I used 20, but this time they are even (started in the back and ended in the front, and they are the exact same shade of lvl 9-10. Btw my starting color is something of a lv 4-5 ash brown (a little darker than yours). So I can deff recommend it if you wanna go the healthier route.
I love Gilmore Girls. You're right-- it does give me the cozy fall feels. Thanks for reminding me of a great show to rewatch! The newer ones were a bit hard for me to watch though. It didn't feel quite as wholesome to me, and I had a hard time dealing with the personality changes (trying to be vague here!)

Its just hair. Most people grow it at a steady rate. So....do it! Bleach, dye, cut, etc. I went blond in June 2019 and got a undercut shortly after....as of November 2023 all the blond has grown fully out and the undercut is nearly the same length as the rest (I haven't gotten a haircut since that bleach/cut in 2019, my hair just has a limit to where it'll grow then it'll snap off no matter what I do). If you want to go slow, bleach your ends, worst case you'll hate it and you can cut a few inches off a few weeks later and it'll grow back to your previous length in a few months. You got this! 😊
If you ever want to do something just start with a suttle change and something removable like a semi permanent dye. Over virgin hair this would just give colorful shine (only really works with the warm deep colors) that fades in the next few weeks and washes out completely in a few month. But it's also totally valid to just leave your hair be, I bet it's really healthy and pretty too :)

New Girl is my favorite favorite comfort show. It definitely does NOT have laugh tracks and it is so zaney and also very emotionally intelligent in a weird way haha. There’s a lot of amazing moments in it and iconic one liners. The chemistry between all the actors is great too and makes it way better. 20/10 for me haha. I always say they exist in a universe where nothing super tragic ever happens but the sad parts and the bits of drama still hit in a way that adds to the show.
I love how sweet you are and that you think of other people when you could buy something that’s hyped up. I appreciate that, I start Christmas shopping in like October so that I don’t have to deal with all the craziness.

Bath and Bodyworks Halloween stuff always sells out, mainly due to resellers. I found a couple things online in my local store and bought it for pickup. I chatted to the chick who worked there and she told me that she found two of the other things I had wanted (being nice is everything!). I didn’t really have the extra money at the time but it was available then so I bought it all. That reminds me I need to go look at their Christmas stuff…
The way Gilmore Girls makes you feel is the way the Harry Potter movies make me feel lol ..I also always try to watch them between Halloween and Christmas! Also, New Girl is soooo funny and relatable! And no.. it does not have laugh tracks! I can highly recommend it! And if you haven't already you should watch Modern Family too (no laugh tracks, wholesome and super funny)
Bleach usually doesn't irritate my scalp, but there's some toners out there that are SPICY!! 😬
I grew up watching Gilmore Girls every week with my mom so I’ve accumulated a bunch of shows that give me similar comfort vibes. New Girl (you have to get past Jess’ personality at first), Schitt’s Creek, Parenthood (also stars Lauren Graham), Ghosts (the UK version), Ted Lasso, Golden Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Six Feet Under ❤

Salt dough ornaments are pretty cheap to make basically salt flour and water I do believe. If you rub a piece and cellophane you could press your cat's paws in there you and your husband could do thumbprint ornaments and paint them like penguins polar bear something Christmassy❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

I also love the Chi cream lighter. Little to no ammonia, great for sensitive scalp, has silk protein to protect the hair, and smells kinda sweet which I like.

LOVE Gilmore Girls! One of my favorites that I can rewatch. A Year in the Life is really good imo. My friends and I had a Gilmore night and watched all of season 1. Each episode is about 1.5hrs. We ordered pizza, had tacos, coffee and all the snacks.

Absolutely loved Gilmore Girls back when it was airing. I remember it fondly and I don't mind catching random episodes every once in a while. I hadn't watched the new episodes until last week. A friend of mine and I met for Halloween and were like "what should we watch?" so we ended up with Gilmore Girls - The New Year or whatever it's called. We didn't get through all 4 episodes but from what I have seen so far it was fun. It was so fun to see so many familiar faces again.

I buy second hand broken or heavily soiled items and fix/ clean them up and resell them for more. Most people don’t wanna buy a broken pram but I’ll fix that easily and resell it on (I add money for my time and any parts I had to buy but I don’t sell it for like new pricing)

I usually use BlondeMe as part of a bleach bath, so the swelling has not been too much of an issue for me. I usually cover the root area for half the time, then I do the rest.

I make and sell things on Etsy. Every summer I preserve spiderwebs and frame them. I will look at what others are selling that are the same thing and I can't believe the price mark up some people do! I don't make a huge profit on Etsy because I would rather people be able to afford something like that. Any profit I make just goes right back into more supplies. I would feel horrible charging what some people do.
So I am not familiar with Gillmore girls but I'm watching a show right now called Jane the Virgin and it's so funny and really good!!! I think it's an older show but I just found it. Lol it's sooooo good!!!

Wella Blondorplex doesn't swell at all compared to Schwarzkopf. It doesn't have any scent either though. I would recommend trying it, works out cheaper than Schwarzkopf too
I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS! I watch it at least twice a year or whenever my life is sucking. It's my 'soft spot to land'. A Year in the Life is good and I watch it right after I finish the regular series. It is a fall/winter show 'cos most of the season happens in fall and winter and because it's the North East, they really do that up.

The same writers that wrote Gilmore Girls wrote the Marvelous Mrs Maisel (amazon). Same rhythms and balance of humor with pathos and no laugh track. it's a different time period so i could really relate to it as i would have been her children's age, but like Gilmore Girls, you have a daughter bucking the cultural tradition of the previous generation. i LOVED it as i loved GG
Dawson’s Creek gives me the same vibes as Gilmore Girls, but I like GG more because I’m from a small Connecticut town.
A show that's hilarious with no laugh track is Arrested Development! It's nothing like Gilmore girls, it's a sitcom
One Tree Hill is a good one to watch. It was out around the same time of Gilmore Girls.
I love Gilmore girls too. The new ones are just them in the future mostly to let us know what has been happening in the years following the end of the series. I don't like the new ones as much but still enjoyable to watch. I also love one tree hill

That’s how I feel with books there are so many people that buy books and sell them for triple the price like divine rivals or fourth wing they brought all the pretty versions then sell it for triple that price I hate that.
Oh and the Schwarzkopf is a little less expensive than the Danger Jones on CosmoProf, but the Schwarzkopf is 450g and Danger Jones is 500g, so it’s essentially the same price per ounce
