@@tallyankeegal yeah, certainly full of many bad for everything and everyone. they should test that stuff for toxic/poisonous chemicals, it's likely chock full of them and contaminating everything. if not radioactive and more I'd be surprised.
I think a big bucket of oobleck (non-newtonian fluid) would be super interesting as you have speed controls, I think at a low speed it would sink right in and displace it, but at a high speed would explode, but id love to see what actually happens
Nothing much interesting would happen. Hydrostatically, oobleck behaves just like any other fluid. Only at high speed / high frequency do you get weird behaviour, but a hydraulic press is not at all the right tool to make that happen. BTW, "non-Newtonian fluid" is a pretty cagey description for the properties of oobleck, it's like describing wood as a "non-metallic material". The proper term is _dilatant_ fluid.
You should do an old press VS new press competition video. Give them a variety of increasingly tough things to crush so we can see the difference in power and control.
7:25 Did anyone else notice that crushing the unicorn made him shit sparkles and confetti at exactly this point in the film? (Damn. I've heard of getting smoke blown _up_ your ass, but smoke blowing _out_ of your ass? I don't think I've ever heard of _that!)_
Crush Suggestions: - 1x bench grinding wheel (stone) - if good results, then a stack of 3 - Stack of 5 or 10 Angle Grinder Cutoff discs - Skateboard wheel/s _(but without the_ - Rollerblade wheel/s _bearings inside)_
It absolutely was worth it!!! It's been fascinating seeing this purpose built set up being built. It's been interesting hearing you talk about what you wanted, your perfect set up. Then making it happen. I can't wait to see the videos you can create now.
Do you plan to revisit Ice VI creation attempts with the new press? I'd be super interested if you can manage to get leakage under control, because sheer pressure should not be an issue anymore.
Hopefully it worked better than the robot we had unracking parts after they got plated at the stamping/plating plant I worked at. That piece of shit couldn't handle half the parts, and barely worked on the parts it should handle, resulting in people being stuck doing it's job more often than it ran.
Feels like they've been running this channel long enough already. Best ideas for crushing things have been tried. Scraping the bottom of the barrel now.
I'm a silversmith thats been learning my craft and uploading videos here on YT. Silver is one of these metals that work hardens. I would love to see you "try" and crush a KG silver bar. Or even just a 5 or 10 ounce bar would be cool to see.
Love this! Classic quality Hyrolic Press Channel content. I mean yeah, there was all the talk about plans, but mostly it was just "Hey, here's a thing. I wonder what several hundred metric tons of squish will do to it?" Nothing fancy. Nothing special. Just stuff getting crushed. 9/10 (for talking).
The huge piston was really interesting. At first it looked like it was bending like one of those steel tubes, but then it turns out it was actually cracking from the start. Reminded me of those videos where people put Gallium into aluminium parts to make them fragile, except that the forces here were just orders of magnitude higher instead.
Great vid, thanks guys! And I can't believe I've been subscribed to your second channel but not this one. Fixed! Keep the hydraulic press content coming! 💖
Now that you have more power, i think leveämmät toolin päät might be good, because now you can get the same pressure as the old press outputs but on a laajempi alue. So maybe try that out
We did episode with lithium batteries about 6 months ago. I have plans for new one but we have to do that with small press outdoors due terrible smoke and chemicals :D
I love those tiny anvils and It always disappoints me when people call them fake just for being small! 😅 Thanks for crushing one These little anvils are king for making and repairing small components. And they're portable
no, mainly because the magnetron may have very toxic materials within the porcelain insulator. lol (could be Beryllium oxide in the older ceramics) not to mention the rest of the materials making a mixed mess.
He once went into the frozen lake with barely any clothing for a NordVPN ad, which I think was his best one. I can't find it but it was probably somewhere on Beyond the Press
Have you two ever thought of sending out fragments of crushed items to subscribers? Maybe with your signatures on them? I wonder how many people would be interested in that? I know I would. And if it would require me to become a channel member, then I would do that. Just something to think and ask about.
I'd like to see you do a paper stack press another time, but with some super glue between a few layers to see if it all bonds into a single rock hard sheet.
The piston looked to be a cast piston, might be interesting to see the difference between cast, machined billet and forged piston. One idea: have you tried crushing glass?
LOL, when an anvil becomes the new "Extra Content" 😆 It was fun watching some of this in the making. I'm glad you guys are past the difficult part of this massive upgrade and can start to enjoy. Now, you just have to figure out how to get watermellon juice out of acoustic foam. ...At some point, a GoPro and LED light needs to get hooked to the hose of a vacuum cleaner. A little beyond the press, perhaps...
After watching all those spools of string and rope, it makes me wonder what a spools of various gauge wire would do. It would be interesting to see 18 gauge vs 12 gauge, or even a spool of galvanized steel fencing wire.
Try press a strong material setup like a teeter totter. Press on one side and adjust and move center of mass location. Fling things like a midsize trebuchet, i think that would be pretty entertaining 😂
With the robot, could you turn the camera from left to right while still looking at the object you're crushing? Maybe it would give us a 3D effect... I think it would be cool
I wonder how the compressed napkins would take different calibers of bullets? Would they make a reasonable form of lightweight body armor if laminated?
I love the "Hiiiii" its just so catchy lol 😂😂 You guys are awesome i love to see stuff go CRUNCH🤙🏼 stay save and thank you for all the Great Content 🤙🏼🤙🏼
9.38 subscribers to someone filming a giant press crushing items , very creative and people like to see things get destroyed under immense pressures , kinda wish you would display the pressure guage sometimes to get an aspect ,,, Thanks

I second comment I am late 😅
... ? ..... почему у вас нету показаний (тензодатчика), какое давление в данный момент ...... ? .......
Было бы Намного интереснее !!!!!
🤔 Nord could be used for free calling back home anywhere in the world, using wifi calling.
YOU KILLED THE MOOMINS !😢😢😢😢😢😅😅😅
..? ..... why do you not have readings (strain gauge), what is the current pressure......? .......
It would be MUCH more interesting!!!!!
I always feel like ordering something super strong, crushing it, and then sending it back and claiming it broke in the mail 😅
I think we should do video like this :D :D
@@HydraulicPressChannel 😅😅
"hello, my tungsten cube came arrived today, but it was shattered, the package must have been faulty or someone dropped it"
@@HydraulicPressChannelI agree
Would be funny, it would also be fraud; maybe if they had someone on the inside to ensure no problems are caused, just getting the reactions.
Could be interesting to have a thermal camera for some of these.
Crush the TH-cam algorithm next. Show no mercy.
In the words of Larry, the cable guy… I don’t care who you are. That was funny.
Maybe just Al Gore's rhythm...😂
@@Jonny_The_Organism "El Go Rhythm" is my other go-to replacement words for Algorithm, but I have used Al Gore's Rhythm too xD. 👍
1:15 "Turns out our small anvil was made of Chineseium." 🤣

Chineseium = ASO
if the metal is painted, you can bet the alloy is tainted... ;)

Yes please do this.
Can it be ball bearing time again? :}
Crushing a pressurized pressure cooker would be cool!
The hydraulic press as a way to encourage a unicorn to fart out glitter was not in my plans today.
Back to basics with fear of death. Prrriiti Guud. 😂
Not great, just good 😂
I'd been wondering how that was spelt. 😂
@@samuelgarrod8327 Have to rrrrrrroll the rrrrrrrrrr. 👍

Don't you know that unicorns fart and poop Rainbows? 🌈😜
Smoke blowing out of your ass- diagnostic sign of really good chili or curry.

I'm really glad that you have the bunker. Much safer. And I can't wait to see everything the Profi Press can do!
Everything you have done has been TOTALLY worth it! Please keep the videos coming, they are great!
It would be interesting to see what the thermal change in metals were when compressing especially those with high malleable property
I love how the cylindrical containers crumple, it’s so pleasing.
"Chineseum" cracked me up 😂
I would love to see how the anvil look afterwards... please show the results more often. thanks
"Holy sh*t" gets me everytime, funny AF. Great content
"ok here goes holy sh*t"
Holy Sheeeeet
That ABB teach pendant brings back memories. I programmed & maintained those robots at a stamping plant 20 years ago.
Hopefully it worked better than the robot we had unracking parts after they got plated at the stamping/plating plant I worked at. 2:53 - People go in an car repair shop w/ pistons like that but they only want an oil change..... 😱😂
Hi Lauri and Hanna!! I enjoyed seeing this on live-stream!! I've really enjoyed them.
Worth it. Paint the Profi Press sign black on the piston so it shows more on the camera.
1:37 A big *ass-piston* ? That's a demonetizing.

Have you considered Prince Rupert's Drop's of varying sizes? I bet those could be fun, especially on high-speed camera.

crush the copper and brass rods AKA the window breaker! would be nice to see with the new press and bunker.

Getting the new press and bunker was a great idea!
Watch Annas mouth during the intro. She is saying the memorized script lol
Idea for your idea bucket. Compression ignition of grease / oil. We all read the no oil/grease when fitting regulators to gas bottles.

Every time I see one of you in a Tyrkisk Peber hoodie it makes me wish that stuff was easier to get here in the States.
I was just thinking that too
Crush some lipo batteries!

Need to crush similar items that broke the window in the new press.
Crushing the Moomin family at 10:50? And Peppa Pig at the end?
You could try wood products like wooden matches, see if the crushing causes heat to light off the matches !
After watching all those spools of string and rope, it makes me wonder what a spools of various gauge wire would do. It would be interesting to see 18 gauge vs 12 gauge, or even a spool of galvanized steel fencing wire.

Will paper and yarn explode inside a vacuum if crushed?
You two always make me smile big!
Try press a strong material setup like a teeter totter. Press on one side and adjust and move center of mass location. Fling things like a midsize trebuchet, i think that would be pretty entertaining 😂
I had a cast iron bench vice explode on me a few years ago. I was attempting to straighten out a bent mower blade. Do NOT try that at home.
With the robot, could you turn the camera from left to right while still looking at the object you're crushing? Maybe it would give us a 3D effect... I think it would be cool
try to pack ice into a cylinder adding more and more, ice can be compressed into different types of ice under high pressure, try to get to ice 7.
You should keep a plate of glass in the bunker, good old times sake haha

Haha "without the fear of death and technical stuff" 👍 Love your content in the US!
You should sell your works of art... (TH-cam's finest compression artifacts!)
I wonder how the compressed napkins would take different calibers of bullets? Would they make a reasonable form of lightweight body armor if laminated?
Have you crushed crystals ? Like Quartz ?
More earthquakes! (Small!) compressed gas bottles. Canned food. A real (non-Chinese) anvil. Love you guys!
Question, is the press just a strong in the other direction? Can you use it to pull rather than crush?
You know you're doing something right when you have a door with a notice on it saying "Hydraulic Press Bunker."
Great technique to remove the paint of something!
I love the "Hiiiii" its just so catchy lol 😂😂 You guys are awesome i love to see stuff go CRUNCH🤙🏼 stay save and thank you for all the Great Content 🤙🏼🤙🏼
The tiny anvil press made me think! People make anvils out of railroad rail! Try to press a bit of rail!
I'm glad you've gone back to what we all want......crushing random stuff 😅👌👌👌 Just need the pressure reading in the top corner and voila 👍👍
You should crush a stack of vinyl records. But they should be really scratched and unplayable. I’d hate to see good records go to waste
On your way to 10M subscribers!
Looks like cast items will just crumble. Cool to see.
Yay @ safety switch!
Can you guys do the legos again? And the big bolts they couldn’t be crushed in the previous press?
All those saved up unicorn farts.
