Masuda and the other composers & arrangers sometimes have a thing for repurposing both used and unused chords, leitmotifs or entire composition. If you pay attention, the Dreamyard, the earliest "cave" theme composed, was based around the Main Theme of Pokémon that has been around since Gen 1 and yet the leitmotif nowhere to be found in the final version. Some notes from personal play-testing! I'll update these if I find out more things to comment on. *The Weird Different versions of Dreamyard are probably there because I know at least Chargestone Cave was using a B1F-type theme of Dreamyard at this point. I suspect either a lot of caves used this theme as a placeholder at this point, or the pitch down wasn't handled with pitch shifts yet, but was a straight up track change. * The theme for Skyarrow Bridge (not included here?) sounds like what would eventually become the theme for Driftveil's Drawbridge (in the early beta that one doesn't have a theme Period, and the other bridge to the right of Nimbasa simply Doesn't Exist Yet)
i'm not sure if they were testing chargestone-type music edits, the final game only has one file for it so they presumably just lowered the pitch since it's all sequenced music

Sapeee!!!!
0:01 New Bark Town? Are Hilbert and Hilda visiting Ethan and Lyra?
beta battle subway sounds like something from pokemon ranger soa
Fun Facts (I’ll add more):
*Swadloon was one of the first Unovan Pokemon to get a proper shiny form, back when the normal form also had a white body (the darker leafs became a lighter color)
Having different music for each season would’ve been cool
the final game does this for most routes
the dreamyard theme... so different from the one we got
NORAPOKE goes crazy hard though.
If you have the Roms can you share them?
CATERPIE SPARES NO MERCY
Nah 2009 is crazy are you sure its from that year💀
yes, the file has 10-13-2009 as the creation date
Black and White came out in 2010 in Japan so not sure why you’re surprised by an early build being from 2009.
11:59 Sounds like the waves in Undella Town's theme to me
11:57 was probably something that was going to be used in a cutscene i dont remember if this was played in game though
8:15 is what we all came for
i'm here for the wifi plaza we never got, myself
But some music of 2009 beta of Pokémon Black and White are used as the final version of this game in 2010. Is this true?
maybe, a few of these sound final
@@Wobuffet3it seems like some of the songs are final, some are just placeholders (I truly never want to hear those again after looking in the files :)), some are completely new/unheard songs, and some have missing or different orchestration, for better or worse.
here while this is blowing up
That poor Caterpie
We have been massively Robbed
Yoo the new encounter theme?
The wifi plaza got cancelled from gen 5 lol.
H_01 is Skyarrow Bridge, no way that's early Skyarrow Bridge 💀
dude spedran uploading these
I uploaded some from the 2010 build already as well
Listening to this before the Nintendo ninjas arrive
22:24
This music was created as the theme for the Japanese television program Pokemon Sunday.
It was included as an initial bonus on the Diamond Pearl soundtrack, but is now hard to find.
neato
do you mean the super music collection? i have that but it's not in there
@@Wobuffet3It seems that this was a special offer only for those who purchased the product on the day of its release at Pokémon Centers in Japan.
The audio is uploaded to the Japanese video site Nico Nico.
Nacrene sounds amazing, but not distinctly Unova
So how can one play this leaked beta?
gofile dot io/d/0mD4ME
change the filename to .nds
hold R for noclip
The bass in the gym shoulda been kept
Ive always disliked the Pkmn Center music this gen for being too happy go lucky for my taste, that Pokemart rendition breaks my heart for what coulda been
It's not exactly new though, it's an early draft of the Shopping Mall Nine BGM
it's in the final game though, go to route 9
@@Wobuffet3 oh oops lol
holy carp?
where were these foound and why were they jsut foud now buh
teraleak
I'm kind of sad that there's no Beta Opelucid City OST -_-
there is in later versions, but there's so many different beta builds and i'm not going through all of em lol
@@Wobuffet3 And there's no roms?
Aren’t there other themes in the leaked beta as well? Like the ones for Undella Town and Anville Town heard in vids on Twitter?
those are from different builds, which were leaked after this one
@@Wobuffet3 ohhhh, i see; i was thinking that might be the case, but i wasn't sure
are you going to upload the OST from those builds at some point as well?
