    This is truly effective! I enjoy listening to speeches that attack the audience with questions that make them want to listen to the rest of the speech.

    • @StageTime
      @StageTime  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure I agree with "attack" but up to 3 questions (no more) with well-placed pauses in between can be very effective.

    This is indeed very helpful and a good insight. I do believe as well in being 'engaging' when talking so that rather than just spouting facts, figures and ideas you grab the entire audience rather then just a select few that like or understand the figures/ideas your talking about. In a way make it very simple to start off with to get every individual on board and make sure you don't let go of them at any point.

      There are several factors in making a great speech including making it funny interesting and not too long One plan I found which succeeds in merging these is the Marlie speaker blueprint (check it out on google) definately the most useful course that I've seen. Check out this awesome site.

    Thx for sharing this tip. I'm coming close to finish an oral communication class, and as far as I see, my teacher ideas of opening the speech never have a purpose behind rather than just grabbing attention. Guess you really need to learn from the pro.
