Hey Jeezy 😉 You might laugh when I tell you I became a waver on accident. I did a big chop down to a 1. From there I started brushing because it feels soooooo gooooood!! Once my hair started growing out I laid it down with pomade and brushed for about an hour then I ragged up with a doo rag & Boo Boo cap on top of that to get max compression. I unragged the next day and I could see waves starting to show. I lightly sprayed a leave-in conditioner and did a brush session until my hair dried then ragged back up. My joy came when I’d get compliments from my brothas. They’d ask what I used, etc but I also told them it’s a commitment…they had to fall in love with their brush and what it can do for them but get decent brushes and don’t half step. If you want this you gotta put in work to get it period. I’m keeping this for reference 😉.

As long as you brushing you will wave up💯 that wash and wave definitely make them hit different but just brush, wrap up dnt forget to let your hair get air to maintain its growth

GO GET YOU A LONG THICK CHURCH SOCK!! yes the one your grandfather who a preacher wears and cut it on the side a lil bit so you can get it on your head. Now wash your hair with water as hot as you can stand it then add your grease and brush it in then before your hair dry slap that church sock on your head and i swear when you wake up in the morning your head might be hurting a lil bit but that tight church sock gone make your waves POP

Idk if am even up there no more due to my hair over curling two days ago and now I got a lil mini fro til Monday. I've tried washing styles and it still ain't helping lol Edit: I have been brushing backwards and it was harder to lay down thanks jeezy

I guess i'm blessed with good hair, I don't need to do all this or that bs for waves. I can go 3 months not brushing my hair. take 1 shower, brush (type of brush really doesn't matter) in coconut oil, then durag, 2 hours later = atlantic/ pacific/ and indian ocean all in 1

I’ve had locs for 7-8 yrs I’m about to cut em off and get waves. My question is can I start off with a number 2?
1.5 you need to start the waves low, when you got ripples then you go in with the 2 and 3 when you’re advanced, if your hair texture allows
