Dude... Thank you for explaining the "selvedge" jeans! This will definitely help me when I'm out sourcing "In The Wild" as they say. I live in Wyoming, so I'm committed to finding all of grandma and grandpa's stuff. All of the hidden treasures I find!
I am glad it was useful. I just learned about it a few years ago by accident when I found some jeans with that weird seam. Opened a can of worms so to speak. Good luck out there!
One of my Favorite Channels I could listen all day to the knowledge Dropped Thanks for all the info Always Always Learn Something on these Videos Today Selvedge , Appreciate this Game Changer to Add to the Memory Banks Thanks
I still have never seen Tom Ford but I know what it looks like and I am ready to get it if I see it haha. That knowledge in your brain is what makes you money. The more brands you know the more money you make. Thanks for your support!
Just watched this video. Saw the jnco segment. You must of made this just before mine sold the same day you made it. I found 2 pair at my GW listed and sold in 4 hours.
Thank you for watching! Levi's are really tough, because they are so popular and so plentiful, sometimes you will get lucky and sell some 505s quick so you buy more and they never sell... I rarely buy Levi's because my thrifts think they are sewn with golden thread from far away lands and charge 25 for used 505s with pee stains on them.
Another amazing video! Thanks soooo much for the time and effort you put into this. I also wanted to add another Polo Ralph Lauren model to look out for with a pretty good STR: the Hampton Straight. And hugs to your kitties!
The Hampton straight is pretty good, I pick it up often. Thanks for adding it here I am sure it will help others. Thanks so much for your subscription, and of course the kitties will get big hugs!
Fun fact since you mentioned Camo jeans, True Religion Camo Jeans have a 130% STR. Found out the hard way. Listed them for 75 and they sold internationally in about 2 minutes
I know less than nothing about women's clothing, sorry. I can do a video on how to find brands on ebay though. Thanks for the idea I think I will do that!
I subscribed because of your straight forward advice. I did not put my head in the microwave today because of you! Thank you sir for that valuable PSA. Should I put my phone in the blender? I need more valuable advice. Anyway this video was legitimately informative. Thanks
Thank you very much for your videos! I’m new to reselling and learning a lot from your videos. I just picked up the pair of Ariat M4 Boot Jeans (the brand I’ve never heard of before I watched this video) You mentioned that you’ve sold 3-4 pairs of Ariat Jenas - Are these jeans supposed to be very stiff (Almost like someone ironed the life out of them)? The Jens are got are very stiff but I can’t find it being minted in any of the online customer’s reviews
Great Video. I’m excited to add clothing to my resale portfolio.. I don’t think my wife will want me to use our washer though. I guess Laundromat it will be .
Clothing is great because it takes up very little storage space, just be aware of sell through rate, as a niche it is one of the worst for sell though. If you are not certain how it works I explain it at the very beginning of my other video about dress shirts with the same thumbnail as this one. Good luck!!
Zelda shows up at the end of the video I am uploading right now, the very end with the scrolling BOLOs you will see her. She is laying on her side and it makes her look way more chonky than she really is. haha
Once again, an absolutely phenomenal video. You are the best, the bomb, the GOAT as far as Im concerned when it comes to making comprehensive deep dive single item videos. Please keep up the awesomeness. I have shared your videos with other resellers. Why don't you put up a place where we can 'buy you a coffee' or a patreon, so we can donate to your awesomeness? Thanks Again!!!!
Thank you so much I don't deserve that much praise, but I will take it! I have not set up anything like that, but there is a built in "Thanks" feature already in TH-cam where people donate. One person sent me 20 bucks and it blew my mind. Just commenting and supporting is more than enough help though. Thank you for being here!
Looks like KUHL jeans guy has an Infiniti. 😂 Love your attention to detail in all your vids! Definitely a 90's kid trait. Thank you for sharing so many stats, from someone who thrifts intuitively 99% of the time. 🤣🙏

I like how you roll. That is the kind of gangsta stuff I love to hear. Thanks for commenting that is a great story. Toss em on the ground shoot some pics make that money hahah!!
I'm wondering about Imogene + Willie? Are they a little too niche? Made in USA (Nashville, TN). Please see my my previous comment where I rely on amazing humans who are statistically inclined and provide numbers to back up their picks.😅I'm from the area and all their items I've listed have sold quickly for nice profit. Just throwing that out there and knowing there are a bazillion jean brands in the stratosphere. Thank you for all your attention to detail!
I am aware of their T Shirts and I know of the brand. Jeans... 182 act / 161 sold in mens.. great STR. I would definitely keep looking for those. Great brand. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Thats awesome! There are lots of brands that did not make it, it's not possible to get them all. There are probably over a thousand jean brands, most of them trash. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
lol. Same. I still have stuff in my store from 3 years ago and some of it won't sell at 5$. Now that I am much pickier with what I buy I am enjoying life much more. Thanks for being here and commenting!

mugsy is an interesting brand because their style names are also the colors and they have limited production runs. i found 5 NWT for $7 each during the summer of last year. took like 3 weeks for them all to sell

its wild to me that some of theses brands STR are so low. But the brands STR really isnt the end all be all since you can narrow it down so much. I found a pair of g star raws, i ususal leave them behind bc the str is bad but these were double knee, great size, and none were listed of the exact model. took the risk and paid $18 and sold it for $75 + $9.99 ship. sold in a week and a half
100% fact. There is so much nuance in each brand. The purpose of these videos is to give people a place to start and a general feel for how much demand there is for a brand on a brand level. There are even 100% STR models of certain items in brands that have a brand wide STR of 30%. Its all about nuance, but that takes time to learn and it would take hours to go into each brands deep nuances. I do deep dives on brands sometimes for this reason. Thanks for pointing that out and watching!
That sounds about right. Thanks for adding that here now I will know to keep an eye out. Thank you for commenting and for the sub, it means a lot to me!
I feel your pain. I have to hit 5 or 6 stores sometimes just to get 10-12 good items. Lots of GWs are in the game selling their stuff online in the back with a light set up etc.
No. I have lots of tabs open and 2 monitors. I use ebay search only, it takes a while and the STR changes every day but it still gives a good idea of what is selling well. Thank you for the sub and for the comment I appreciate it!!
there are brands on this list with bad STR that you shouldnt pass on at all. bathing ape jeans are a definte pickup. just bc theres no market on ebay they will most likely sell on depop, poshmark, grailed, etc. very solid brand just not to great on ebay even for their shirts.
This is true. I thought I explained that but maybe not. Lots of brands just don't work on eBay but may do well elsewhere. I just don't spend much time on other platforms so I focus pretty hard on eBay with my videos. Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
if you had a hard to find vintage t-shirt, would you auction it? Or take your chances with a buy it now... I'm one of the idiots that started off selling using auctions. what did I know. lol
Japanese have love for jeans and street fashion. There are many different selvedge jeans and most are top quality. Samurai, Iron Heart, Pure Blue,Sugar Cane, Momotaro to name a few. Some are very expensive (natural indigo)
I live in a major city and even here I barely come across most of those pricier jeans you pointed out. Naked and Famous is probably the most common. Evisu only once in three years, Amiri three times. Honestly I’m happy with selvedge Banana Republic which those are also uncommon. Amazing video. Pure knowledge no bs. Thank you !
1900 active 500 sold is a 26 percent sell through rate, probably why they are not featured in the video. I do pick them up when I find them, but as a brand they are not one of the fast sellers. Though some models do sell quick. Good brand to know and pick up if you find it though.
I don't share my store publicly, and don't promote my items on TH-cam so no, that's not it. However, on eBay you have followers and Ebay asks buyers if they want to follow you when they leave feedback......so that creates a situation where you may have people that follow you (and get notified when you list things) who like certain specific items that will sell when you list them because a specific person on your follower list buys that item, making some things sell for me or some other seller that may not sell for someone else. I hope that makes sense. For example I have a guy on my follower list that buys my Polo Ralph Lauren linen if it is size large, so I know that it will sell even though the STR may not be great on Ebay. Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support!

Those BKE jeans sold for 65 because they were a Rock Revival cross. They also have a cross with Salvage Jeans that sell well.
Sounds right. Those collabs don't always work out but when they do it's pretty obvious!
