Note about the super: Use the heavy attack to first because it suspends the target, does a large chuck of dmg, and buffs the light attack. When you do light attacks it will charge the heavy attack. Once the heavy attack is charged repeat the cycle until you run out. This is the best way to use this super.
no it’s not, the light attacks get faster and faster the more you do.
the HIGHEST damage possible is spamming light attacks whilst a teammate preferably another titan keeps the boss suspended. your welcome it’s like 30-40% more than using the combo ❤️
yup, from what I remember you can do 1heavy into 3 lights until the suspend debuff is gone so you repeat that until super is spent.

IF your solo then yes, but if the target can’t be suspended, it’s not really worth it since the nerf because suspended wears off so quick.
Depends on the target. if you can get the melee attack speed ramped up it's always better to go that route but if you miss then be ready to use the heavy attack.

I run Thread of Warding over Thread of Transmutation since I find Tangles easy to create already without much effort. The Thanatotic Tangles on the seasonal artifact also makes Thread of Transmutation a little redundant. I know the artifact perk specifies it must be a strand weapon, but even ignoring that, any target affected by a Strand debuff such as Unraveling from Thread of Propagation or Sever from the powered melee have me constantly making Tangles already. Given the abundance of Tangle sources, having another source of Woven Mail feels more valuable to me
To be fair, you do have to commit to 1-2 punch and tractor cannon - you can't just hang back with range and or play or mix up your style. You have to brandish your sweating balls outside the titan mark, play aggressive as F, run directly into danger constantly etc. Definitely effectively and totally insane, no denying. Thanks for sharing.

Banner of War makes Flechette Storm with Synthoceps absolutely bonkers, as well, if you want the ranged melee option. Your melee uptime isn't as high unless you're using Monte Carlo, but the damage output is really good.
I get full melee back in 1m, spam flec melee at least 30x a nf
Just so people know, shotties rn other than precision shotties, are bugged and have decreased damage when ads-ing. In case anyone was wondering why their shotties do less in pvp or in pve atm, Bungie is aware of this.

not only that, if you keep grappling onto a tangle you make you can just infinitely clean up with one grenade melee for a LOOONG time and continue the loop by making another tangle
I did this the last 2 contest raids lmao. And it’s my go to in GMs and other master content. Banner of War just made this even stronger but it was always ridiculous.
Both fragments have its benefits sometimes you can carry the tangle to the next room but it’s also easy to get and orb to drop with how much damage your abilities do
You heard it fellas this is better support than well and more viable for all boss encounters than well, gathering storm, or strand warlock.
You missed the entire point of that rant while simultaneously proving his point, it’s actually hilariously Ironic. He just proved ONE subclass can almost do the job of all 3 subclass you named with very little effort.

I 100% stan into the fray and banner. Giving your team woven mail just from tossing or breaking a tangle is great and the melee regen is huge. At this point I won't run lash unless I plan to use the boots.
Flechette storm is hype but i find into the fray much better for harder content.
Now flechette storm with the lie card this season is something else entirely lol
I run the fragment that gives you woven mail on orb pickup, it makes the build a lot more spammy and less risk if you end up using melees, not to mention infinite woven mail is always nice

Yeah you really need woven mail, and the suspend grenade is also much better

Yup, I’m literally powering thru the lightfall campaign to get strand on my titan. Might be a titan main this season. Nice refresher since Warlock and Hunter is all I play.

I'd be ok with a Snytho nerf if they buffed Titan melee builds dmg without it. It almost feels like you can't have a good dmg melee build without syntho's.
If Bungie made more exotics that buffed dmg and effects of different melee's then people wouldn't be bottle necked into just syntho's.
I just wish shield throw worked like strand Hunter melee where it travels between targets and can catch it to gain energy back. The targeting is shite

@@Eztra326 Maybe it could be an exotic perk? Idk I mean we are the melee class so being able to throw those around and have constant overshield along with the new block aspect in Final Shape would allow Void to go toe to toe with Strand/Solar

@@Criiies the total damage from using heavy attacks is greater than that of only using light attacks. So yes, i am sure. If you're having trouble hitting your heavy attack then thats a user issue

Yeah, ever since suspend was nerfed, it's allowed the other abilities some room to breathe and flourish. Really enjoying using grapple to be more aggressive

When Bungie eventually nerfs Banner of War, I just hope they don't put it in the ground. It's a neat concept that should probably be expanded to the other Titan subclasses in some capacity (Exotic maybe). Nerf the health you get per tick and it's fine, I just don't want them to make it worthless or a pain in the fucking ass to maintain by saying, "Once you get to x4, you can't refresh the time until it runs out."
They'll probably nerf banner and synthoceps in a spectacular double whammy to make sure there are no titans being useful in PvE.

Little note about frenzied blade, it can hit multiple targets, my maximum is 3 per attack from the 3 we have in total
Honorable mention has to go to monte carlo with caty, the loss of tractor sucks, but the big stab is fun
Question: Any specific reason for using ikelos over without remorse? I assume it is the same reason to use riptide over other stasis fusions. The faster fire rate leans towards an overall faster dps and the rapid-fire frame just allows us to hold more ammo. Second any preference for swordbreaker's left column perk? Personal preferences aside, would pugilist be the call for getting our melees back, or demo for our grapple? I also assumed that for the most part our shotgun isn't killing adds as we use the ammo for our 1-2 punch procs. Since it is strand though, it can benefit from getting us our tangles first and foremost as well as apply unraveling.
I use enhanced pugilist and OTP. It’s just free huge energy gains for any add kills in the mix
Grave robber combo, you do no want to reload the shogun constantly. (and as you mentioned, more ammo)

I’m using this with a kinetic slot shotty, lament for if my melees somehow aren’t enough, and abyss defiant for ad clear to match solar surge with pugilist and swash. Melee anything with a bit of health, get max damage buffs and explosions on the auto for the red bars, which gives my melees back, repeat
Get yourself a Thin Precipice sword from season of deep.
Chain reaction causes huge strand explosions and just feels great to use against long ad clear sections
Unrelenting/ chain reaction is also another hilarious layer of healing
@@wethepeople8280it’s actually such a goated sword combo. On my hero of ages with that roll I’ve got over 5k kills on it. Not a great damage dealer but in any “low” level content it was my sword of choice before thin precipice which I had built with chain/unrelenting but with the threading buff I’ve really been liking hatching/unrelenting for even more strand synergy (I’m warlock main btw so building into threadlings works a bit better)
@@xdifficultviper9916 nice. I’m a titan main. You can pair woven mail, banner of war healing, unrelenting chain reaction healing and precious scars for some of the best team support healing and woven mail DR in the game. Though it’s hard to pass on synthoceps with how strong they are
@@wethepeople8280 I play all three just main warlock, Titan has been an absolute blast this season and precious scars is definitely interesting but I’ve found myself using mostly synthos or stronghold with banner. The healing and dr from stronghold is actually crazy when you don’t need that extra synthos damage

You CAN suspend ALL bosses with the heavy attack, they may not be suspended in the air, but you’ll still get the damage buff from the super

I've tried this build all day today and I have to agree with Ehroar here, this is the absolute strongest we have ever been. Absolutely incredible.

Also when this inevitably gets nerfed, this same build but with Heart of Inmost Light is pretty nuts too, it's not synthoceps levels of busted but it's a good alternative
Was trying both today, you just trade damage for cooldowns.
Both are fun and have similar loops.

Bungie/RNG is forcing me to run Titan, so I’ve been happy to run this build. My Titan still needs legs and class item to drop. I run auto melee because console, so bonk Titan was a no.

Thread of propagation is useless, you don’t need unraveling rounds on strand weapons, just a shotgun with one two punch and tractor. Women mail on orb pick up is way better than this

Try Monte Carlo with this build 1/2 punch shotgun and strand sword w unrelenting and chain reaction . Monte caty is nutty with this setup . One melee procs banner and max stacks for Monte

Build is great, but there’s no way that the hammer syntho build when 12p worked wasn’t the best build ever. Wormgods was even crazier, you could solo Atheon in 1 hammer 😂
Any recommendations for concole users because getting the shotgun off right before the melee mid air like that to proc grapple melee is pretty hard.

still don't know if this is gonna be viable in GMs. Apart from this build titans have nothing for GMs(maybe arc titan but warlock and hunter are better).
youre wrong and it hurts, ive used this exact build in gms, it shits HARD plus you can change grapple for nade suspend and done gm is easy mode
also bonk hammer exist, and theres skull fort as well theres tons of builds on titan that are shitting on gms right now

@@aras5334 Ok, the thing is in GMs you play from far, it is really risky to just jump in the middle of a pack of enemies. Most of titans builds require the use of the melee attack(like you said bonk titan requires you to be close to the enemy or you lose your hammer). Banner of war is not gonna keep you alive(even with woven mail) and yes you can one shot champs, i do it to with my titan, but that doesn't mean you are gonna survive the remaining enemies that are attacking you. Skull fort does nothing in GMs, it doesn't even jolt. So in resume, titans this season are not efficient if you are trying to farm a GM, you are better suited with a warlock or a hunter that bring more to the table.

Yes, so similar to what I was rocking but this refines it.
Whilst I'm here I just want to let a few PvE players know that Showrunner from Athenaeum's recovered weapons focus is absolutely cracked in PvP. With Target lock it's absolutely busted. Kinetic tremors does work too, yeah, even in PvP. Go give em hell

won't get a nerf, because I think the titans were the most nerfed, the barricade with cd for over 1 minute in PVE, Tcrash for 9 min CD(even if it doesn't matter how many orbs are made now) , HOIL, Loreley nerf, Synto once had a nerf... and banner of war makes the titans discipline to stay around the team to heal them, they won't run forward to break everything in front of their eyes with hammers :), honestly how is the titan with the banner of war now, this is exactly what a titan should look like: a space paladin and in the end game, it's risky enough when you can take 1 shot before melee , no one will use 1 shotgun one-two punch and tractor and melee in the endgame, only that it seems broken to you.. by the time you do this combo you have already received a kick from the team, bonk is used in the endgame, because it has heal nade, restoration all the time and the range is much higher on melee and use again and again
Sadly bungo will nerf it probably because too much hunters are already crying about it also content creators screaming about this build being op way too much
@@stanthehusky92 it is op, but in the endgame and in heavy activities it already decreases. Why ? if you don't keep woven mail and don't always throw tangles, the melee doesn't recover as quickly, plus in the endgame it's quite dangerous to be close to NPCs, it doesn't compare at all to classic Bonk, there the melee has a large range and you always have restoration and melee is always up

I’ve been using this build but with a chain reaction solas scar for ad clear and it’s a blast in savathuns spire
weapons + aspects + exotic armor piece… it’s not THAT broken considering the amount of things you’re using. also the comparison you made isn’t that great, verity’s give your teammates like a 2000% grenade charge increase, basically infinite grenades for 10 seconds and that only requires one exotic armor piece and one gun, nothing else. it’ll probably still get a nerf because it does so much damage to bosses though.
besides that titans are an aggro pull away from becoming an actual tank role. PLEASE BUNGIE JUST ADD AGGRO PULL

Nah the best build of all time was old titan baby hammer. The one that woulc one shot atheon. But it was broken. However the void shield bash build was fine since it took a lot of work to do.
Ahhh I remember the solar titan hammer build, crazy how bungie will completely nerf that then ship this version of strand titan

Yeah… been using the sword version of this with stronghold. Switching to my other characters to try builds just feels like a massive downgrade.
IMO only melee, glaive and sword kills should increase the timer of banner, and it shouldn’t be increased by your teammates.
