My friend, who hates metal, said he can sing rap god in every way possible so I challenged him to do this. He spent the next month figuring out how to scream and now he is a metal head. I am so proud of him.

ive loved rock my whole life and still cant figure out distortion.. i got everything else, the voice and the lungs but not distortion its sad... in case you dont know distortion is what turns a scream into a rock scream

Spartan in my experience its easiest if you basically growl like a dog then work on controlling it. Get good control, add more force behind the air coming from your diaphragm

Dude sscreaming fast is soooo difficult, it takes some crazy endurance because of all the air you have to push out. Would be even more impressive if he did it all with lows.
Unfortunately this was recorded much slower, sped up, then tuned back down. Still a goddamn fucking wicked cover though. Gave me chills.

That is false nothing was sped up or tuned down at all. However it did take me 3 straight 8 hour days to complete I'm not the Rap God but I screamed every line.

I dont think people realize the amount of stress that shane is putting on his vocals here In this song. Even just screaming the majority of the lyrics throughout a song takes a lot of lung capacity... but to combine that with the speed in which hes singing - that is nothing but raw fucking talent.

The lead screamer killed it. That man is mad talented. The woman has a beautiful angelic voice too. All in all overall this band is amazing and I hope they reach their full potential and become famous worldwide and I hope they get some well deserved radio air time.

I was kind of on the fence about it for a while (mostly because it was kinda weird hearing that song with your guys' sound) but after the really fast part gave me chills I was impressed. I honestly didn't think it would turn out as well as it did, being a fast rap song and all (just seems to me like that would be hard to do well for a band that has a completely different sound), but it was great. Okay so, where to begin. I've loved all of y'alls covers, the first one I heard was Black Widow and I fell in love. I'm a huge Eminem fan and Rap God is one of my ALL time favorites of his because of the just ridiculous flow he has on it and when I saw y'all did a cover of this song I was slightly skeptical to see how you were gonna tackle the speed and I must say... You created a fucking masterpiece!!! Like legit my mind was blown I love the speed screaming, it just really appeals to me and you do such a damn good job at it!! Eminem yells to a certain degree at some points in time. but with the constant screaming, it doesn't even sound like rap or even music anymore. It's just not very appealing to me.
I also realize that it's quite impossible that he has the strength, and the lung capacity to scream all the way through the song. When recording it they would've had to do it piece by piece.

I finally got my big brother back. The weekend before he was going to join the Army to escape the area we were from, he got a hit of junk. It was a bad batch, laced with something that made it too strong. He ODed on Saturday morning. I was across the country at my station and I had to go through the day on post until I could get a flight. Now, I don't know if you are a young kid or you are trying to mess with me...but please don't disrespect me like that.
