I never thought of using CDP for scanning and listing the cards I want to comp before I list. This has saved me so much time! I have learned a ton from you in the last couple of days on ways to make my process quicker and I appreciate you!
This was more helpful than the videos on CDP. We met a while back in Charlotte and now I'm helping my husband list his collection. Thanks for these videos, they've been really helpful in my crash course of cards!
Holly smokes man this is game changing. I have hundreds and hundreds of 1-5$ cards that I’m to lazy to post by hand with phone. This with the scanner video just changed the game.
Great job, Jmac. I'm glad you're having betters success than I had with Card Dealer Pro. I did the trial a few weeks back and the AI was very hit-or-miss. I did a test of 1990 Topps, a highly produced set, and the AI hit 60%! I uploaded a 2020-21 Contenders basketball and it hit 10%! I love the technology, but they need to work out the AI to be more reliable. Ted was very responsive, but I couldn't pull the trigger on doing the subscription service with such a low hit rate.
Very true. Thanks for chiming in, I like the tool for listing for sure the service to go out and match images to cards definitely needs more work. Happy New Year.
Using the trial to.. So far im doing it with uploads taking from my camera (scanner comes in today). I did not realize they have no Soccer at all so those I will still do the same way I have been listing. I think this tool is not a one stop tool. It HELPS but lots of manual work to. So im trying to compare it with how I do single card listing now with Inkfrog. You do have to check everything. I uploaded some 2021 Playbook and they were listing base cards as GOLD so had to go back and fix them. Also where do they pull the card set data from and how fast before they have data for a new set. Cornerstone Baseball just came out. How fast before thats in the system to match? My next suggestion a s full interview with the creators so we can ask them questions. TY for this
I have been using CDP for the last couple of weeks. I love the idea but if I need to make a change in a batch after it was created forget it. The support staff is very nice but I've saved almost no time. Maybe the new version will make it less problematic.
Its really preferrable to use a scanner, but if you took really close (or well cropped) photos of the full/clear card front and back it would probably work
If youre already taking the pictures listing manually might be the way? Seems like the card scanner is more of a time saver than the ai software itself.
On the spreadsheet section in CardDealerPro itself, before exporting it out, can you add sections of metadata for yourself to just have on hand (like maybe the price I paid for a card or something like that)?
It’s an eBay specific spreadsheet, so all the cells align to a property on eBay, I know there is a column on eBay that I’ve used in the past to put info about the listing that isn’t made public (Custom Label column) might could use that.
I have the million dollar question. I recently bought the Es-400II and the reason being is I bought a 4,000 card lot of 1986 tops tiffanies and my problem is: If I scan one card but I have 37 of them or 104 in some cases, what would be a good disclaimer to state I have multiples of this card you may not be getting the exact card in the picture as I have 37 of them, they are all in decent condition, however they are 37 years old so some have wear in other areas, some the centering is off on the right side or the left side or some are dead on. I dont want to be misleading in any way but people have to realize although they are tiffianies and a little better looking a little more rare, they are from the junk wax error and I dont want to get bad reviews over something like this. Any help would be appreciated you have already motivated me to jump start this with a scanner hoping to be in your shoes one day!
I sell clothing and shoes full time on ebay. I’m 99% sure and image uploaded to ebay is saved there. You shouldn’t have any issues if you ever stopped using the service.
@@JMacSportsCards No worries at all lol. Love the content though! I was waiting for this video to drop. Only been subscribed for about a month. My son and I have been collecting since 2019 and sell here & there. Really considering buying a scanner to ramp up the listing on eBay and make it a bigger part of my business.
FYI - I asked CDP support, and they said the images “will remain active indefinitely until you remove them from eBay. Feel free to turn your CDP subscription on and off as needed.” Thanks for the great content, JMac!
If you ever cancel your monthly subscription with them, would all the images on your eBay listings disappear since they're being hosted by that company? Yikes, it seems like you'll be tied to their service if that's the case.
So do you get a certain amount if scans per month, or do you only get a certain amount in total. For example if I use 1100 scans one month, can I get another 1100 the next month? Or does it just stop at 1100
@@JMacSportsCards ok good to know, I’ve been using kronocard for 1000 total listings and the same price, having a new refreshed thing every month will be super helpful
thats up to you, i delete mine since they are on eBay and I believe you can access them on CDP and re-download them just never needed or wanted to since once they are listed I dont have need of them anymore.
Whats a better program? card dealer pro or kronocard? I am debating on what to subscribe to 200 dollars for a yearly at kronocard so im looking for alternatives. Which one is better?

Fantastic information and by far this has to be the best video you've put out all year Happy New Year 🎉

I'm new to list on ebay. I just use my cell. But I see now I have to update how I list my cards. I want to thank you great videos and very helpful 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Can you set it up as variations instead single listings
How do you get the front and backs together when you scan?

Excellent info. Thank-you!
You bet, Happy New Year!
can you use scanner thorough the program of card scanner?
impressive stuff
Is there a way to export and list as an auction with CDP?
Love the videos. Have you gone over how you ship yet?
Covered a lot of it here, but might do a shipping only video at some point! Happy new year!
@@JMacSportsCards that would be great ! Happy new year!..

I have the epson BUT it keeps pulling the cards out of the penny sleeves. What setting am I missing?!
I did remove the roller already as well
I'm sure you figured it out by now, but load them upside down. It kept taking mine out as well until I did that.
Would this work for Pokémon?
Said yes, sorry not ATM, there are discussing a future release that will allow TCG cards in Card Dealer Pro.
How much time a night do u use packing
30 minutes - 1 hour depending on how many orders came in.
How does this compare to kronozio?
Much better UI and user experience.

i dont sell anything on ebay let alone cards but this was interesting 😂 thanks
Thanks for that!

customSKUs on each one and put a sticky note on the SKU for each one
Reasonable to try and make $200 a. Day selling 1/5$ cards ?

no the listings and the images are stored on ebay not CDP

@JMacSportsCards of you don't use all the scans for that month, do they roll over to the next month or do you loose them?
How does it connect to your ebay account?

Once you upload the pictures to eBay, do you have to the image in storage?

So 7 days after u posted this the storage went from 100 GB to 2 GB ?…….How is that possible???????
Not sure reach out to their customer support, in the web app there is a support bubble that you click in the bottom left corner to start the chat.
Does anyone know if kronocard or CDP is better?
I'm trying to figure that out right now. What did you decide?
What are the benefits from CDP or just uploading cards on eBay. What’s faster.
keep getting error code 120 dont know how to fix that
I never identify cards software sticks
