These sessions are great viewing - thanks for sharing. I do notice from this series a very different clash in styles. Daniil gets his pieces active much earlier whereas Magnus seems to keep his on the back rank a little longer.
I don't think that's a general question of styles. Carlsen simply doesn't make as much opening preparation for a blitz game. As Dubov is a natural genius in opening theory he doesn't really need to prepare even for something casual like this. In general I don't think anyone could accuse Carlsen of playing passively.
@@williamrobert9898 you asked if I even watched the video. Clearly I watched the video because he made Magnus resign and I commented on it. Its a dumb question

@@rohitnegi4651 Yeah, I think your explanation is right and mhmMHMmhm is just speculating. But they didn't need "click bait" - I would have watched if it just said "Carlsen/Dubov blitz match".
Magnus:plays in fancy apartment
Dubov: alcatraz
4:05 match starts
Describe Dubov in one word:
Magnus: "reasonable."

Love these sessions!
Sync streams please!
The grey board is so frigging dull to look at, and Magnus definately doesn't need dulling down!!!
In which platform are they playing? It should be Chess24, but the layout is completely different
It is Chess24, but using the new ‘Playzone’ page, which is only available to premium members.

Dobov outplays Magnus, Magnus wins somehow at the end...

Why is he losing to some kid if he is actually the "world number 1"? Maybe he is actually bad or the kid (dudov) is just better
Being number 1 doesn't mean being invicible. This apply for every sports, fields,etc...
