I can confirm that the Hover rig is, in fact, the deal! I've basically stopped fishing pretty much all other presentations and just been catching piles of fish on the Hover rig. I'm now even doing tweaks and mods (I figured out how to Texas rig it) to get even more out of it!
You’re absolutely right. After watching a Matt Stefan video, I ordered a few hover rigs from Core Tackle on Feb 17th and I STILL haven’t received anything
Heading to the lake right now and I definitely have the core tackle tied on. It's my new go too finesse presentation as I'm waiting on the water temps to rise and the fish to get active.
These rigs are the real deal. I can confirm because I have been catching piles of fish on it long before core tackle came up with this weighted hook. That being said, I am waiting for water temps to rise so I can use these weighted hooks I ordered from core tackle. Tight lines!
I already placed my order for 2 1/8 & 3/64 . This will be a great addition to my already Finesse type fishing I do with Ned Rig. Wacky Rig, Neko Rig. You best believe it will be tied on when I fish my tournament in April.
I have been waiting for this video to come out. Thank you very much my lures are on order and I'm sure they'll be arriving within the next few weeks. Thanks again for the great tips
For us that fish snook in saltwater the hover rig looks a lot like the old DOA shrimp! Very Nice to have a rig for Bass also! I've been using flukes as lures on a hover rig
I thought I was doing good catching a 4 pounder on the rig, I have to play catch up now 7 pounder wow. Bait of choice for me is the Strike King "dream shot" in sexy shade
I appreciate you sharing the plastics that worked well for you with the hover rig hook. Would you share plastics that didn't work well in your opinion? I'm wondering about how easy or hard it is to get the hook into ElaZtech and other types of plastics.
I did use two Z-man products with this and they did well. Once you got them on the hook they did stay on it and not break as easy as some other plastics. I really did not have any plastics that I did not like. I will say getting the ones with more plastic help with the 1/8 size hook. If it is a plastic that is smaller, it is hard for them to get on. These ones I showed just have been the ones that have caught most of the fish for me. That can be different where you live. Thanks for watching!
Same Here ordered 2-20, the website then said 3-5day shipping NOT 4WEEKS which it says now, WONT be ordering anymore at that rate, best way to kill a new business advertise product u don't have to sell !
I bought mine the 1st morning they came out. Question I have that is different, unless I misunderstood it then how Matt showed to hook them up, is he wants the flatside of the bait down. It looks like you had it up.
Have you used these in and around grass? I'm mostly shallow water and bank Angler? I have some hopefully on the way. I want the first double digit on the hover rig lol. Thanks Jimi.
They work! I have used and caught fish with the Z-man finesse shadz. The 3/64 size hook fits it better. I still forced the 1/8 size to get the lure to deeper depths.
Ah heck don’t look no different than a tube jig head to me and looks like it pretty much falls about the same. And for one the fill bait has more surface area for restricting it from falling faster
Not to take anything away from the hook. It looks incredible. I ordered 5 of each size the minute I saw it a few weeks ago and just got a notice today that they're on their way!
I ordered several packages of these almost a MONTH ago and my order still has not been processed/shipped. NOT A GOOD WAY TO START A NEW TACKLE COMPANY!
They did sale out pretty fast. The website does say on the main page that it may take four weeks to ship. You will get your hooks soon! Appreciate your patience.
Thanks for the tip Kid Rock. I can’t wait to get my hands on these
Appreciate it 🤙🏽
Hoover Rig Technique is AWESOME, thanks for your valuable time and information. 😊
Thanks Timothy! - Jimi
Man that looks like such a natural presentation. Can’t wait to try it.
It is for sure a more natural presentation. Go give it a shot!
I can confirm that the Hover rig is, in fact, the deal! I've basically stopped fishing pretty much all other presentations and just been catching piles of fish on the Hover rig. I'm now even doing tweaks and mods (I figured out how to Texas rig it) to get even more out of it!
Yeah you have been catching them on it!!
@@BassFishingDeclassified I have! And thanks for the mention! I want to know when you get a big girl over 7! I bet it doesn't take you long!
Your welcome!
I Hope so! Since my trip to TX I have been catching a lot of fish but not much quality
I love the Bellows Gill glad to hear it pairs well with the hover rig
Yes sir!
You’re absolutely right. After watching a Matt Stefan video, I ordered a few hover rigs from Core Tackle on Feb 17th and I STILL haven’t received anything
They sold out really fast, a new shipment should be in any day! Thanks for being patient!
I’m waiting for international shipping to open up so I can get some. I can’t wait to try them.
Heading to the lake right now and I definitely have the core tackle tied on. It's my new go too finesse presentation as I'm waiting on the water temps to rise and the fish to get active.
Nice! Good stuff and good luck!
Hello Richard how are you doing 😊
These rigs are the real deal. I can confirm because I have been catching piles of fish on it long before core tackle came up with this weighted hook. That being said, I am waiting for water temps to rise so I can use these weighted hooks I ordered from core tackle. Tight lines!
That is great! Thanks for the little insight on the water temp factor
Looks quit different. Have to give this a shot. Thanks for sharing 🎣
Good deal!
Hope everyone here catches their pb this march! Feel free to follow along as I try and catch mine as well!
Yes sir!
Got some ordered. Can’t wait to try them out! Great video.
Appreciate it Rob! Good luck to you!

Yes sir! You are going to catch some fish with them. Good luck!
I tried the rig on Saturday. On my very first cast, I put a 4 pounder in the boat. Caught fish all day. Easily had an 18 pound bag.
What!? First cast! That is awesome! Thanks for sharing and sounds like an excellent day.
I have been waiting for this video to come out. Thank you very much my lures are on order and I'm sure they'll be arriving within the next few weeks. Thanks again for the great tips
Appreciate it Chris! Good luck to you!
A pointy weedless tube jig head that's been in my tacklebox since 1990. But it will work as intended.
Nice!
Ordered mine feb 20 still waiting. Thanks nice video
Appreciate it George! Good luck!
I got all that gear, I am ready for the highland reservoir! north east
Sweet!! Good luck!
I ordered mine on day one haven't seen them yet I understand they went fast, hopefully I'll get them soon. Tight lines,
Yes, they did sell out fast. Last I have heard the next shipment is in any day and you will get yours soon! Thanks for watching!
I have mine and have been catching smallmouth on the upper Potomac river with them. No big ones though.
Sweet!
Just ordered thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Good luck!

Ordered some about 2 weeks ago, can't wait to get them in and try this out!
Heck yeah!
I thought I was doing good catching a 4 pounder on the rig, I have to play catch up now 7 pounder wow. Bait of choice for me is the Strike King "dream shot" in sexy shade
True stuff!!
Guys this is the Millwood special… better have this in the mr. Bass!! Jimi is the man!!!
The Mr. Bass guys have no clue! I did not share fish catches on purpose so they would not be hole buzzards!
Thanks for the info. have some on order
Sweet! Good luck!
Let me know when I can get it in Canada 🇨🇦 please.
Thanks Jimi, it is awesome.
Appreciate it Mike!
I wouldn't know since I ordered them weeks ago and probably won't get them for weeks. I didn't read whatever fine print said a month plus for shipping
They sold out pretty fast. There is going to be a shipment sent out any day! Thanks for patience.

Great video Jimi! Definitely going to have to give this a shot! I bet it'll kill em in the summer too!
As much as you like throwing the ned rig. You will catch fish on this!
@@BassFishingDeclassified for sure!
Would be best to publish this when you have them in stock. Can’t fish it yet since it’s not been shipped to me.
The next shipment should be any day. The website did say expect to wait for four weeks! I hate to hear you have not got them yet but you will soon!

Great video buddy
Appreciate it!
We shall see how it works this weekend……heading to Lake Ozark.
Nice! I am saying it will catch a few!
I bought mine the 1st morning they came out. Question I have that is different, unless I misunderstood it then how Matt showed to hook them up, is he wants the flatside of the bait down. It looks like you had it up.
I had the flat side down on the meathead. I know it was hard to tell.
Have you used these in and around grass? I'm mostly shallow water and bank Angler? I have some hopefully on the way. I want the first double digit on the hover rig lol. Thanks Jimi.
I have used it around grass a little. Soon I will be testing it a lot around both emergent and submergent vegetation.
@@BassFishingDeclassified hopefully me as well!!
Where did you get the basscat hoodie. I need one lol
Believe I got this one off of their website
GAME.............................CHANGER
Yes sir!!
Hello. What color is that in the Bellows Gill?
Electric shad!
Thank you.
I’m one of the few in the 1% of anglers that have these. Do they work with smaller Zman plastics or do they float? Like a trd or a finesse shadz?
They work! I have used and caught fish with the Z-man finesse shadz. The 3/64 size hook fits it better. I still forced the 1/8 size to get the lure to deeper depths.
@@BassFishingDeclassified how about the baby goat or regular sized goat?
What color do you like for the bellows gill?
@@Moosedigger sunburnt WM gill and and muddy gill. Electric shad is good but I prefer the other colors more.
Ah heck don’t look no different than a tube jig head to me and looks like it pretty much falls about the same. And for one the fill bait has more surface area for restricting it from falling faster
It is weighted more throughout out the the hook then the tube jig head. Thanks for watching!
Is "hover" the right word to use for this hook? It sinks.
Not to take anything away from the hook. It looks incredible. I ordered 5 of each size the minute I saw it a few weeks ago and just got a notice today that they're on their way!
Hope you enjoy! It does not “sink” like your traditional baits with jig heads / weights. Good luck!
