My father came home from his 4th tour in Vietnam in 1974 to face a new enemy just as you did sir, when I joined up in 1985 I was still getting dirty looks when I was traveling in uniform. My son came home from serving in the Middle East to a different attitude and a welcome that everyone service member deserved to receive. It brought tears to my fathers, father-in-laws and my eyes to see it. Thank you for your service sir and God Bless you.
No matter what time period you served your God and country you have nothing to be a shame of. It is those who disrespected you when you came home need to be a shame for you fought and died for them to have the freedoms they have. God bless and thank you for your service. My husband served in the US Air force and he served Viet nam period. He served with pride and honor.🇺🇸🙏
