Your question might mean a few different things. Please read the complete answers. Pioneer in-dash receivers are designed to automatically power up when the vehicle is switched on. This is so that even if you don't want to listen to music, Bluetooth phone calls are still available even with no music source selected. If you want the receiver to not play music when the vehicle is powered up, be sure to power down the system before leaving the vehicle by using the Power Off or Source Off in the Source drop down menu or, the top right of the Home Screen Setting as seen here: th-cam.com/video/kBf9sYwE4dE/w-d-xo.html When you start the vehicle again, the receiver will power up and return to the previously used source, in this case Source Off. If you want the in-dash receiver to not power up at all when the vehicle is started, that will require a change to the receiver's wiring. I recommend to put a toggle switch on the receiver's Red Wire. This way, when the vehicle is powered up, the in-dash receiver will only power up when you put the toggle switch in the closed position. Do not put a switch on the Yellow wire. This will erase the receiver's internal memory each time you open the switch.
