I see my piking as I do my barbel my chilled fiahing so tend stay one spot. Watching videos I don't think pressure is issue, although not a huge range of pegs, there is a huge amount of water on that area 30ft deep in some places I believe I think tbh it's conditions and your vid shows it perfectly. Fish don't know calanders, it's cold they go winter spots it's warm they go spawning spots. It's so up and down the fish must not have a clue! Well done on getting out there though mate and trying. Nice vlog.
Hi Mo ,just commenting on your video about what's best, pity about the night fishing, I used to fish a big gravel pit at nite and had my PB which was only 15 pounder but had plenty of other smaller pike PLUS allot of EELS hehe, which I don't mind but I know a lot of lads don't like em,ledgered deadbaits or float fished deadbaits, not many places let you livebait now, plus you've got to catch em first eh mate.
Subbed your channel as I can see you fish all the places I used to fish before I had to pack in due to mobility probs 😩 (I take it you're from the Wrexham area too are you?) Anyway, keep em coming Mo...blanks & all - makes you appreciate the good days even more eh? 👍
Yeah I live in Hope 👍 sorry to hear you can't get out. Yeah can't catch every time but I feel pressure to get a fish for the channel to be honest. Thanks for watching and subbing take care 👍
The down side of making videos and making them public. Lot's of people watch, then go and fish your spots. As you say it's a long journey to the Severn and fish do not respond well to pressure, especially pike. It is not just you doing videos from this stretch, there are a few people that do it. I have spoken to lads on the bank that have said we came out as we saw it was fishing well on TH-cam. Some of these were not members either, they were local lads that I was not prepared to argue with.
Yeah it is a downside although I've done the same so can't really moan. I usually go on a Monday so don't see the wk end anglers. Thanks for watching tight lines
I think you may be wright about being hammered Mo there's a lot of lads wanting to get fishing and if there's not many pegs to be had I think they will be over fished mate, better luck next time Mo
Great video mate really enjoyed it 👍
Cheers Graham thanks for watching tight lines mate

@@fishingforbiteswithmo Ahh right. "Yeah I live in Hope" ...(cue the non-Wrexham area comments) 😄
My lad had a 9lb pike out looks like the day before you went on your 2nd trip from that spot I lost 2 Jack's myself from the spot further down
Great result 👍 thanks for watching tight lines

looked tough going, i fished the ribble last year quite a few times and blanked every time :(
Never fished the ribble thinking of having a go soon on the stick float Danny does very well on there 👍
@@fishingforbiteswithmo yeah we were catching little chub, perch and roach one a chuck but no pike
That'll do me 👍
If it those spots get hammered no. Try staying a few hours into darkness.
Cheers Shaun. I might do the night for them this wk end 🤞 tight lines mate
