If only it was never cut from the game
Dr Wiley, it is NOT a mystery on what is or what is NOT beta elements in the Triforce run. They have an entire FAQs and have done interviews stating what was in and what was entirely made up through real-time coding. The boss fight was entirely “made up” (ie modded by codes with the use of TASBOT which was coded into the game real-time). The entire point of the Triforce Beta Run was to pay homage to the old “school yard” rumors you would hear back in ‘96-‘97 and game magazines that would provide ways on how to obtain the Triforce (which were all hoaxes) this video was a way to pay homage to those actual beta elements (I.e star fighter, red rupee, etc.) and made a fan-fiction story to play it all together. It’s very evident that they used fake elements by the way they used the “Overture of Sages” song which was clearly a well-known hoax back in the old days.
So you’re saying if I had my copy of my game that TASBOT will be able to code that on my own system? What about the ending where they put in the BotW teaser? Was that coded real time too with the graphics?
@@fredflintstone5356 yes, it’s code that is fed into the game. Swanky box has a video explaining how all of this was achieved. The point is most of it was made from scratch, not “buried” deep within the game’s code (except for things like the Starfox fighter, etc)
@@Echohoody that’s incredible really. Seems like someone needs to be a super genius to figure that out and get the programming of TASBOT just right.
Running man boss isn't real, he can't hurt you

The longer Song of Time really sounds like a fun mechanic. But then you would be able to get to places where child Link shouldn't be.
If it were made real (assuming it were fake or lost to beta), I imagine there'd be segments or collecables for Young Link for areas he couldn't access originally. Or maybe you'd get special quest lines.
Maybe even secret interactions with characters.
Swanky Box had a really good video about the cut content stuff. From what i understand they used a bot to have a very specific glitch done wich would allowe them to program things into the game while playing. They then made a storie and quest with this using cut content and then they ran it. One person playing while the bot would basically mod the n64 game using the game itself in real time. They used arbitrary code execution to program those events and items into the game. They are not in the code at all.
I'm 35 and I've grown up with OOT for nearly my entire life. And this is blowing my mind! It only makes me wonder what else is inside that game's coding that we don't even know yet. O_o
I'm telling you people the final version of OOT is too different from the one at the beginning and middle of its development with a lot of really interesting content and stories but cut, it could have been much more intense but unfortunately we live in the wrong timeline 😭

If you haven't seen the beta showcase from SGDQ 2022, give it a look. There's a lot of beta stuff mixed in with showing some of the shenanigans a glitch called Arbitrary Code Execution makes possible. Some of the rearranging of data ACE allows for is literally banans. That's so "bananas" that you loose and "a" due to the sheer bananosity of it all. Like, seriously, of all the glitches ever found, ACE is the one I _most_ have no idea how the sweet, tasty hell it was discovered.

RustySporks is a liar. He just altered the text. I didn't know the race ends in 3 minutes. I've seen someone use cheats to reach the end of the race before the timer reaches 1 second. His time in the race was 00:0/.

Try to imagine a guy who's honestly more powerful than Ganondorf. Now stop imagining it because you're wrong.
Many might think Link, right? There was also the possibility of Ganondorf killing Link, so that should be considered. But no, there is one man or thing that's so unfathomably strong that not even Ganondorf would ever pick a fight with him.
Besides, who would ever suspect a guy that likes to run around Hyrule Field and deliver mail, right? And who could ever imagine that said delivery man would be the one thing that Ganondorf is terrified of? How do we know that the Triforce of power was meant for Ganondorf?
Wouldn't it make more sense for a creature of god-like speed and power to be more worthy of the Triforce of Power? What if Ganondorf only has that power because the running man permits it? Indeed the most terrifying villain in the Zelda Universe, and he was right under our noses the whole time.

Found a video that shows that if Link's time is 00:00, the running man beats him with the time 00:0/, the character before 0 in the ASCII table (a representation of each charater such as letters and numbers).
He beat Mario too in Isle Delfino. He got a tan and took on the nickname The Great Pianta. It's an actual fact.

Man that Ocarina of Time live patched game build is funny as hell. Though I will say, now I'm very confused which parts of that stream were actual beta content and which are just total fan content. That stream was a fan patch of the game injecting code into the game through the 2-4 controller ports by converting controller inputs into arbitrary code injected into the game's ram. I'm under the impression though the Running Man thing is totally made up though. Especially because of the exposition dump he gives.

That is actually pretty funny that something like that was even programmed in the game to begin with. But is it really as far-fetched as stealing from a shop owner in Link's Awakening and then the next time you enter the store he zaps you with electricity palpatine style and kills you?

You don't know what is beta content and what is added by TASers? Well isn't your job to figure that out? I think it's fairly obvious from watching the triforce% run that this is a boss they created through arbitrary code execution, so the entire tone and premise of this video is misleading.

I'm 99% sure the running man can be beaten by riding Epona and without cheating. It just takes a few attempts to find the optimal route
