IMPORTANT TIP FOR DRIVERS GOING UP TO MARIN: Golden Gate Bridge is a toll road and as of 2018 all manned toll booths have been eliminated. If you drive back via the bridge, you need to have either a FasTrak sensor (tag), have set-up a temporary account with FasTrak (i.e. registered your vehicle license), or if you've got a rental car, arrange pre-paid tolling with the car rental agency.
Shout out to a hot grill sandwich after a rainy trail walk! Your presentation is always so clear and informative, love your genuine personality. Good luck with your journey!
Mountain and above wood look so great also natural beauty is incredible so raining day had your lunch time so excellent then restaurant as so gorgeous then your pink raincoat also so beautiful thing you are so gorgeous...
Oh, I messed up - when I took my out of town friend to Muir Woods 3 years ago I didn’t know about the Trading Co. cafe. That Marin Melt and tomato soup combo + ice cream looked so good. (We went to Sol in San Rafael instead, Puerto Rican food for my PR friend.)
@@ZeeneInRealLife Everything looks so great in your videos, especially the food, Lol, I am a little concerned by some of the things I've seen in others' videos about rampant crime like car break ins. Also, stories about feces and needles in the streets. Is this accurate information? Not trying to be negative, just want to know what to expect.
I will say that being a major metropolitan city, SF has its fair share of car break ins and destitute street people. That said, if you take all pre-cautions you can safely navigate without having to worry too much about this. 1) If you end up driving, never leave items out in plain view (this is the #1 cause of smash and grabs). 2) Avoid visiting sketchy areas and if you have to, use a door-to-door service like Uber. Overall it isn't any worse than any other major US city and the vast majority of it is quite navigable and safe :)
A big shoutout to viewer Kevin from Australia. Thanks for stopping by while I was filming this to say hi to me :) Hope you had a wonderful rest of your vacation!
A Chance Encounter in the Woods. The sight of giant Redwoods and the smell of fresh air was entrancing. The feel of rain falling on my skin and the sound of water flowing along the creek added to the surrealism on the day I visited. As I walked down the steps away from the store, I saw a woman below with a selfie stick attached to a device held in front of her. I ignored her as she looped back up passed me until moments later when I heard a voice behind me with that signature sign-out - “peace…”. Turning around, I looked up and in disbelief recognised her face as she smiled at me in real life. The forest was enchanting.
Thanks for the videos. They helped me plan my visit. Will try to comment on some and highlight for your viewers, the titbits that were really helpful to me.
Hi Rose! I don’t remember now but likely around 4 miles? There are longer hikes that go all the way out to Stinson Beach which could extend almost to 20 miles.
GOOD QUESTION! Being an avid Pokemon Go playing family we are always scoping this out! ⚡️⚡️ Sadly, there is ZERO cell coverage or WiFi here so even if there were pokestops you wouldn't be able to access them...😭😭
Another great video! My brother & I have been hiking there for many many years. Well before it got overly popular. We strictly use the Dipsea trail which is long and somewhat difficult but it drops you off right at Stinson Beach! There are lots of great restaurants there as well to refuel and make the hike back. Midway through the hike you end up on top of the mountain with 360 views including the Ocean. One day my brother and I spent too much time at Stinson Beach and add to that we started our hike later than usual and it started to get dark really quickly during our return hike. I mean we were really exhausted at that point but the fear of bears got the adrenaline pumping that we started running the trail all the way back to the car 🤣🤣🤣 You deserve to have a ton more subscribers I really enjoy your informative and fun videos 😊
Nice! That Dipsea trail is really LONG! :) You guys are fit -- bet you would have kicked any bear's ass if they tried to mess with you on the trail. 🥊🥊

Muir Woods is really beautiful. Are there places in S. Korea like this?
@@ZeeneInRealLife spectacle places like it...

Next time :) Although unfortunately Three Twins Ice Creamery is no more 😫 another victim of the pandemic.
Beautiful! Now I’m really homesick. Love Muir Woods. Have you ever been there when it’s mushroom season? It’s amazing. Lucky you.
I have not been there during mushroom season! Will definitely have to make a trip there to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!
Good job, great video 🌹
Thank you 🤗

Hello 👋🏽 Great video 😊 What was the total distance of the hike you did?
Hi Rose! I don’t remember now but likely around 4 miles? There are longer hikes that go all the way out to Stinson Beach which could extend almost to 20 miles.
Awesome video. Thank you. Is this hike 4h total or 2h?
Sorry for the delayed reply! The hike is about 2 hours although there are several trails there you can easily customize your hike.
you're so adorable you look so much like my mom
Aww, that's so sweet!! 💕
Muir Woods is a favorite. Thankfully I went with a local who knew all about the parking situation. Online accommodation was a breeze :)
RIP Three Twins Ice Cream. 😭
I know!! Miss it 😢😢😢
Unfortunately Three Twins ice cream is no more 😳
@Caterslave It’s a real bummer :(
Thank you. I didn't know about this park. I have to visit with my family for sure. Do they have pokestops for Pokemon Go players?
