His powerful vocals and introspective songwriting made him a beloved figure in the rock music world.
    Tragically, Chris Cornell passed away on May 18, 2017, at the age of 52. His death was ruled as a suicide by hanging. Cornell's legacy continues to resonate through his music and the impact he made on the alternative rock genre.
