If they could find a common language, that would be probably the best metal band ever + you can get any other ex-Megadeth guitar player to fill in the rhythm section :)
The Bush and Belladonna eras are both amazing, but certainly different. I'm so glad.we.have both. And honestly the current Joey era (Worship.and Kings) are even different and possibly the best yet...Anthrax just keeps getting better....
On their newest records, Belladonna sounds just great! Did you hear "Worship Music" or "Anthems"? He's just as good as Dickinson, Halford, etc. One of the greatest voices of metal!
Well, I have to give Belladonna a break here - the rest of the band obviously enjoys playing this, and they do a great job. Sound of White Noise is a great album, and I understand that they didn't want to ignore it, even though the two singers are very very different.
The whole Bush Belladonna thing...I always thought that Anthrax was awesome musically, super tight. Belladonna's voice never really held up on record...but I've seen them live and and several recordings on youtube...he sounds great. For some reason that wasn't captured on their albums. Bush however sounds better on studio recordings. That being said, they are one of the Big 4, one of the greats, love them.
I love Sound of White Noise and John Bush, but it also works well with Joey. It's simply a marvelous song that works even with me singing. But it is kinda weird though XD
Joey does a great job here for what his vocals allow him to do. Bush hit the harder vocal notes but joey's great at getting those high ones. As an athrax fan I like both sides personally.
It's 03:11 a.m. and I am dying a sleepy man here, but I can't take my eyes and ears away from this song and performance... after years, these guys are still too lively!
Belladona es un enorme cantante y una persona generosísima cuando canta para el Big 4 y los Anthrax de toda la vida una canción que hizo grande John Bush. Para mi este "Only" es de lo mejor de Anthrax. Rock y libertad
This makes me wanna crank Sound of White Noise now. Bush was awesome for that period and that's still my 2nd favorite Anthrax record. Time now shows that Joey is THE voice of Anthrax and he does a swell job on this one. Worship Music is the best thing I've perhaps ever heard from them. And I've been a fan since Among the Living. I'm just floored at how good Joey is on this new album.
For all of the people giving joey shit about this song, joey and bush are two different singers. Yeah joey isn't as good as bush - Era songs. But at the same time bush couldn't do jack shit with the among the living songs.
+AllOutWar5000and1 I agree. I'd like if they rehearsed Bush's material more (still needs work to make the songs belong to Joey) and recorded Greater of Two Evils part 2.
to hear joey doing a john bush song like ONLY hurt my ears.the song its self is totaly awsome with the vocals of john bush.both singers joey belladonna and john bush deserve recognition, but my favertisim would and must go towards the one and ONLY john bush!!!!!!
Belladonna had said that he didn't really know the song and had little time to prepare for this. I saw them live with Megadeth and Slayer last October, and he pulled this off much better. His voice is quite versatile. I wouldn't mind seeing them tour with both singers, or do something with Amored Saint, but I definitely prefer Joey as the permanent front man.
@ghoststrike Belladona is a wonderful singer and a very generous person when he's singingin for Big 4 and classic Anthrax a famous song of John Bush. In my opinion this "Only" is one of the better Anthrax songs. Rock and freedom. Sorry for my bad english.
The majority of Anthrax fans disagree considering that that their current album sold alot more than the last album with Bush. Anthrax lost ALOT of fans when they switched to Bush.
Joey actually did a pretty good job!! dang! doesn't compare to the original John, though. but Joey has his high points with the 80s classics and new album.
I happened upon this by accident. Is this the original singer for these guys? I can't imagine how they would have become so popular with this guy as their singer?
I disagree, the 90s was a tough time for metal but I feel they peaked on Persistence of Time in terms of being heavy and marked a change towards the more serious tone of the band. If they stayed current with that direction they would have done fine during that time. Testament, Slayer, Overkill, Kreator and other bands of their ilk consistently toured and put out heavy releases without danger of losing everything. Personally, I don't think Anthrax would have been a different story.
John sings this song so much better, but I am just happy they played a song from the Bushthrax era. Too bad they ignore those awesome albums. Priest does the same thing with the Ripper albums. When bands do that it buries the albums and the fans lose out.
Did someone actually say bush couldn't sing belladonna but Joey could sing bush?!?! On what fucking planet?!!! I liked Joey back then... But bush owns him now as a singer. The lesser of two evils and music of mass destruction prove this beyond the shadow of a doubt.
Only in Belladonna's version wasn't so good. But, as far as I know, Madhouse, Caught in a Mosh, Indians and others weren't so good in Bush's versions too. Forgive my english.
I think Joey nailed it. He's always had a much wider range than Bush, whose voice is so limited. I liked him in Armored Saint though. Is this the only song from the Bush era that Anthrax plays live with Joey? I've seen Bush sing the Belladonna era sings, but hardly ever the other way around.
John Bush's voice is so much better. This is one of my favorite Anthrax-songs. Belladonna spoils this a little. Such a great song - but it has to be performed by the right singer.....
A lot of pre-Bush era songs sounded awesome with John singing. But John-era needs John...Joey just can't pull it off. Also, Joey really should have learned the lyrics better lol
The most insanely underrated drummer in metal. He could effortlessly play circles around most drummers that people rave endlessly about.
Absolutely...metal isn't just speed and blast beats...though he certainly has that too...amazing
Not DL imo lol 🤘🏼🤘🏼💀
@@patkeniry7767 he’s light years ahead of Dave, don’t get me wrong he’s amazing but Charlie is next level for sure
Both Ba !🏴☠️🤘🏼🔥☠️
All of these comments enrage me. I love both singers of Anthrax and this is a killer version
Here's an idea. a 4 piece supergroup made up of former members of big 4 bands. John bush, marty Friedman, Jason newstead and Dave lombarto
Thats an awesome idea
hell's yeah !!!!! horns up brother !!!!!
If they could find a common language, that would be probably the best metal band ever + you can get any other ex-Megadeth guitar player to fill in the rhythm section :)
M wallace You could put anybody on vocals on bass, if you say Friedman and Lombardo, I'm in.
look up metal allegiance
Amazing drum performance. How the hell does he keep those legs pumping!
Charlie is a very underrated drummer
Totally underrated. Clean, clear, energy, inventive the way he uses slme beats in heavy metal....and a decent guitarist too
3:12, that perfectly perfect fill! :')
So tight !
thrilling
I love Belladonna but according to me, this song is one with Bush's voice...
Terbie36 100 percent. Bush brought a more street sound to it. The warble of Belladonna is a bit more Dickinson.
Ahhhrghh sheeeeyaaataaap
The Bush and Belladonna eras are both amazing, but certainly different. I'm so glad.we.have both. And honestly the current Joey era (Worship.and Kings) are even different and possibly the best yet...Anthrax just keeps getting better....

Agreed. This song tottally belong to John Bush, but the fact that they still play it is really nice, as a fan I appreciate Joey's effort
Yeah but John can pull off Joey era songs live.
The whole Bush Belladonna thing...I always thought that Anthrax was awesome musically, super tight. Joey, John...both versions kicked ass and were far different than the other. Joey did fine on this song. He definitely made it his!
As an athrax fan I like both sides personally.
got goosebumps everytime i listen to this song with bush or belladona! awesome tune
Amazing drummer!
It's 03:11 a.m. and I am dying a sleepy man here, but I can't take my eyes and ears away from this song and performance... after years, these guys are still too lively!
Joey's voice sounded phenomonal the other night live. He has an amazing range. His voice just seems to keep getting better.
Long live John!
Belladona es un enorme cantante y una persona generosísima cuando canta para el Big 4 y los Anthrax de toda la vida una canción que hizo grande John Bush. Para mi este "Only" es de lo mejor de Anthrax. Rock y libertad
One of my favorite albums and songs from Anthrax. \m/
The sound and video quality of this clip are both freaking excellent. Thanks for sharing.
This makes me wanna crank Sound of White Noise now. Bush was awesome for that period and that's still my 2nd favorite Anthrax record. Charlie is a monster totally underrated
Joey did them a solid. He is a selfless bandmate.
I saw anthrax at sonisphere in the uk, Their set was one of the best i saw that weekend!
Man it is SOOO Great to see Belladonna back in Anthrax.. HEs the Best Voice for the band bottom line.
Charlie stepped up the drums here, the double bass pre chorus is insane.
this is like listening to david lee roth singing Dreams or Love comes walking in.
Or Ozzy sing Heaven and Hell.
i love this dvd the anthrax part is my fave love this tune
Charlie has 6 arms and 4 legs in this vid
I want to stick hot pokers in my ears! I started listening to Anthrax in 85 and John is the Best thing to ever happen to them!
Joey nailed it!
For all of the people giving joey shit about this song, joey and bush are two different singers. Yeah joey isn't as good as bush - Era songs. But at the same time bush couldn't do jack shit with the among the living songs.
I actually like this version better than the original and I know most will consider that blasphemous
+AllOutWar5000and1 I agree. I'd like if they rehearsed Bush's material more (still needs work to make the songs belong to Joey) and recorded Greater of Two Evils part 2.
This is a kick ass version, better than the original
I just can't have enough of awesome drums and a brilliant combination at 03:10
Killer performance, Joey sang perfectly, Joey is the voice of Anthrax!
He can sing Turbin's songs, Bush songs, and well.
What???? Ummmm….ok.
They should get Belladonna and Bush in the band. I think they would be incredibly awesome with both vocalists.
Joey pulls this off awesomely
The best song of ANTHRAX!!!!!!!!!!
to hear joey doing a john bush song like ONLY hurt my ears.the song its self is totaly awsome with the vocals of john bush.both singers joey belladonna and john bush deserve recognition, but my favertisim would and must go towards the one and ONLY john bush!!!!!!
Best Anthrax tune!

His voice is quite versatile. I wouldn't mind seeing them tour with both singers, or do something with Amored Saint, but I definitely prefer Joey as the permanent front man.
Droogie128 If memory serves me right, i do believe Scott Ian said they only rehearse the song once before this performance.
@ghoststrike Belladona is a wonderful singer and a very generous person when he's singingin for Big 4 and classic Anthrax a famous song of John Bush. In my opinion this "Only" is one of the better Anthrax songs. Rock and freedom. Sorry for my bad english.
the atmosphere of this song rules
Cool!
Canción de la que James Herfield dijo que le hubiese gustado componer, un tema sencillamente perfecto
Bons tempos!
ANTHRAX YUO ARE THE BEST IN USA
FROM A HEAVY MEYAL LOVER
DK DK DK DK DK
Frank Bello would be a great singer, he has a pretty damn good voice.
I was there :)
The majority of Anthrax fans disagree considering that that their current album sold alot more than the last album with Bush. Anthrax lost ALOT of fans when they switched to Bush.

I happened upon this by accident. Is this the original singer for these guys? I can't imagine how they would have become so popular with this guy as their singer?
Joey can't handle John's songs. Imagine Joey trying to sing Inside Out. He'd probably drop dead.
I reckon he'd nail it. Scott would sing the chorus. I really wish that would happen
Love his voice... especially that vibratto of his o_0 (do mind please, If I spelled vibratto wrong because I could care less )
Anthrax my lads!
He is STRUGGLING!
I actually like this
RIP DIMEBAG - Bello's bass
Anthrax лучшие
@xler12 the people who disliked this awesome metal performance deserve bowel disorders

@critterbugcharms I agree totally, but We've Come for You All was awesome too.
No dislikes. Tells pretty much everything about the song and the band!
John sings this song so much better, but I am just happy they played a song from the Bushthrax era. Too bad they ignore those awesome albums. Priest does the same thing with the Ripper albums. When bands do that it buries the albums and the fans lose out.
@iamtheburninator That was a great album, very underrated
First time hearing only with belladonnas voice
Did someone actually say bush couldn't sing belladonna but Joey could sing bush?!?! On what fucking planet?!!! I liked Joey back then... But bush owns him now as a singer. The lesser of two evils and music of mass destruction prove this beyond the shadow of a doubt.
I miss SPITZ on Guitar !!!
I just could never get into Anthrax (don't get me wrong; they are one of the most important thrash bands EVER), but I LOVE this song.
@HazMatYT, he doesn't mess up the lyrics at 0:55.
What kind of bass is he using in this video??? i know its a fender but what model is it???
i love this song when john is singing it but over all i prefer joey in the band
Belladonna sounds decent for sure in this, but this is a John Bush era song and only John Bush can do this total justice.
@axax444 what does bowel disorders have to do with anthrax?
ANTHRAX IS FUCKING BACk!!
@Tantrix911 I have to agree with you.
this is going to be interesting.....joey belladonna on vocals on a song originally sung by john bush
👊💀
La voz de Belladona no le llega ni a los talones a la voz de bush aunque con el sacaron los mejores albumes
What bass is Frank bello playing in this video?
I think is a fender aerodyne bass.
Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass
13 dislikes ??
Come On Justin Bieber, you can do better than that !
Did you know that other parts of the world have access to youtube?
friend, it is true that they charge you for uploading youtube videos in hd?
Only in Belladonna's version wasn't so good.
But, as far as I know, Madhouse, Caught in a Mosh, Indians and others weren't so good in Bush's versions too.
Forgive my english.
I think Joey nailed it. He's always had a much wider range than Bush, whose voice is so limited. I liked him in Armored Saint though. Is this the only song from the Bush era that Anthrax plays live with Joey? I've seen Bush sing the Belladonna era sings, but hardly ever the other way around.
2:16 why did Joey tap Frankie?
Love Bush, love Joey, but 'Only' is Bush's song. Really.
bush!!!!!!
John Bush's song!!!
Not bad, but not Bush. But I wish they still played this one. Their setlist hasn't changed much over the last years, apart from a few new tracks.
Yep....way better than armored Bush singing belladonna songs.....
Does it bother anyone else that he messes up the words at 0:55?
Joey and John are both great singers, but they're both better at their own styles.
their ‘only’ good song
John Bush's voice is so much better. This is one of my favorite Anthrax-songs. Belladonna spoils this a little. Such a great song - but it has to be performed by the right singer.....
Seriously, is the old dude actually ignoring Anthrax?? 1:35 (the one who has his head turned)
A lot of pre-Bush era songs sounded awesome with John singing. But John-era needs John...Joey just can't pull it off. Also, Joey really should have learned the lyrics better lol
Bush can't pull belladonna-era songs off.
Joey has his songs that are good....DON'T fuck up the John Bush era
Joey struggles - but he is trying.
Yeah. But Anthrax with Joey is Excellent. They've nominated three Grammys.
Disagree
@@jurasitol2615 Yep, as is your right.
ONLY if Scott didn't screw John Bush over they would still be great!
