Yes Ricky! If you want a bit more steering feedback go for camber plates or M lower control arms and tension struts. Works even better with tires that have stiffer sidewalls. The 4S is a proven tire but the sidewall is pretty soft for a performance car and most other performance tires from Continental and Goodyear provide better steering feel as they are stiffer. Food for thought.
Had a Quaife ATB fitted to my MSL remapped E63 Biturbo AMG Wow total transformation no traction lights flashing beautiful control lays down power perfectly
If you want to get rid of the disconnected feeling from the rear you need the Powerflex rear subframe Bush inserts and diff mount inserts (go for the black series) also an underbody brace. If your going with m3 arms and tension struts then remember they will lower the front an extra 10mm so it can make the rear feel a little bit floaty but improves turn in. Personally you would of been better with some Bilstein b14 or b16 coikove s instead of the birds set up as you can set the ride height and counter act the extra drop from the m3 arms. Or don't go for the m3 arms and get some Millway camber adjustable top mounts.
Cars looking awesome! What size M Performance style tips are you running on your Remus exhaust? I’ve got the Remus black chrome tips but not a fan of the look, want to change them to some M performance style tips but not sure which length to go for.
Just got myself a stage 1 m240i what’s the benefit of driving in sport+ I know it turns traction control off to an extent but isn’t that more dangerous for having a floaty rear end
which hood is that it looks amazing? I know you said all the specs from the wheels, the hood etc in the video but you speak so fast and my english is not the best. can you make a list from your modifications? your car looks wonderfull buddy
The Bimmer is 🔥🔥🔥 looks amazing...Ricky always putting out great content 💯 Anybody knows what's the name of the track 🎵 that plays in the end of the video? "See the smoke when I drive past, fastlane living life fast " it's dope
These M140i’s are great but once you’ve owned an M Car and felt that connection you have to the road, these can’t compared. They feel like Alladins carpet for feedback because there basically is none 😂.
Yo Ricky, the quicker turn in is the work of the quaife lsd not the suspension. I had a quaife lsd fitted by birds on my previous m135i no suspension and it was the first thing I felt strsight away was the sharper turn in. The quaife is great but not ideal for wide angle high speed drifting because it does not lock up. I currently have a 550bhp m140 with an mperformance lsd and it is more controllable when you want to power slide at higher speeds like around 100mph or so in the rain but even 60mph in the dry the mperformance lsd is more controllable because it locks up the quaife doesn't. The quaife is great but experiancing the 2 back to back the mperfornance lsd is better and suitable for drifting. I hope to catch you out on the road mate! recognise all the places you drive in your videos as we're local 😂
Interesting observation and b2b comparison on the LSDs. I have been wanting to install the MP LSD on my M240i for a number of years and have been down to Birds last week to talk about their B2 Dynamics package. Also went to Evolve to inquire about the Wavetrac system. Would you recommend the MP LSD solely for high speed drifting? As I never purposely try to drift. Also recognised every road in this vid as am local as well. Where are all the local BMW meets I never go to?? :D
@@nickgnjatovic9535 It entirely depends on your driving style. A clutch type LSD is better suited for drifting like the mperformance or wavetrack which I think bmw use wavetrack anyway but im not 100%. The quaife is brilliant and may have better traction abilities when the tyres are gripped but power sliding wise its not recommended and I think I remember birds saying somewhere that its not ideal for drifting because the rear wheels dont release when you come off the power like a clutch lsd does. Its difficult to say because they both have their good points and it comes down to how you want to use the car. Can't go wrong with either the quaife was great still drifted everywhere though had a lot of metal in the oil when I serviced it...
Why everyone in the UK buys all the ''cool'' cars in auto? I know DSG is way faster than manual but shouldn't having a sporty car be just for fun? Until you go to the track and care about every millisecond of course.
The m140 wasn't available in manual for the last few years of production so lot's of people (me included) didn't get the option. Also traffic in certain parts of the UK is so bad that driving a manual becomes a pain pretty quickly.
Some people find just driving to be more fun and thinking about taking the hands of the wheel and managing shifting takes away from the fun of just driving. The speed of the autos are fun in their own way
@@VWR7 BMW is definitely not more luxury in my opinion. BMW is probably the most performance based company out of the 3 BMW, Mercedes’ and Audi. Obviously yeah merc has their 63s and Audi has their RS’ but the average BMW will beat the average Audi and Merc. Just my 2 cents.
ZF8 box is a peach, manual gearbox not so great on these. Also get 40mpg with ZF8 box with the 8 instead of 6 gears, always in the right revs for torque with ZF8 too.

The centre airbag module from the vid you posted is from the M135/M235 which is the old style M Sport wheel, where as the M140/M240 came with a new designed M Sport wheel that's in all the M cars and trims. i’m stage 2+ power.. put LSD in a few weeks ago and oh my god, completely different car. properly changed how it drives nearly all the time
