shes 49 years old and start signing at 5...so 44 years of singing...its unbelievable to ear her voice so clearly...of course she loses power...maybe she didnt feel the need to do it anymore...because everybody knows......she dont have to proves us !...still she is so good to me at least !

Her voice is different yes... But it's obvious due to her age... It's not a secret Rene's death took a toll on her voice but to see her recover her voice in less than a year at 49 is unbelievable. And she's improving even more. In my opinion I prefer her vibrato now. And I feel like her voice has more depth and history now. Even though she can still hit those notes her voice is still powerful but in a different way. When she sings songs that are more suitable for her new voice like ordinaire or purple rain or tous les blues sont écris pour toi etc... It makes me cry. It's obvious that when your voice ages some of the olds songs won't fit as well but having said that, I actually LOVE her voice now because her resonance is amazing and she's not as nasal as she was on 2008. She's singing like she did on 2013 which in my opinion was her best year vocally.... I love her and I can't wait to hear her voice in a couple of months

The vocal skill, meaning her runs and melismas and volume control and everything, she still has it, she’s probably even better at those now than back then. The runs in Think Twice are so easy to overlook but once you listen you’re asking yourself how she did that! In my opinion she sings Think Twice and a few other songs better than she did back then. A lot of people think she lost her voice because she can’t sing My Heart Will Go On like she did back in the 90s/ early 2000s... the truth is, she just sings it differently now with her new voice. She did sound better with My Heart Will Go On back then, but for a lot of other songs, I prefer how she sings them now. Think Twice just sounds more complete to me, and back in the 90s when she recorded these songs, she was just singing words on a piece of paper... today she sings these songs from the heart and the emotion that comes from her voice is better than ever before. I love her voice so so much!
