Happy birthday🎉 I always thought turning 40 would be difficult and it just wasn’t. Now I’m 46 and realize I feel better in my skin than ever before and I no longer care what people think of me. I dont’t know why people are scared of getting older,the alternative is worse. And as a nurse I see so much pain and suffering and it makes you realize life is short. Do what makes you happy because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Matt…next time thin out the icing a little with milk…use an offset spatula and spread a thin layer on the cake…put the cake in the refrigerator for 30 mins and then frost the cake (I think you will find that works better). I love john lewis! I have duvets from them which are wonderful. We are dying of the heat in idaho in august but are already getting winter plans in place. You look like an ewok in your oodie but i can see how it will work this winter! Looks great!
