I started today March 4th, 2024, i was thinking of ways to finish a class a week too. I needed some insight. I already finished my first assessment (assignment) there are 4 total. I'm going to start the next assessment (assignment) tomorrow. This was helpful, I do want to continue with my Masters.

I love these videos! Then I noticed you are also an Excelsior grad! I am as well, but i am much older than you but was still able to pass that CPNE in 2018. I have never written a paper....do you suggest I learn how to do those before I enroll in Capella or do they teach that?
Hey Angela just now finishing up watching this video. I’m so glad you telling me how you can get 100. I’m the same way as you if I gotta redo and my score is in the 80s I’m likely to just move on lol 😂. I did pretty good in nursing school. I got all As except for 2 classes (got that dreaded 89.4% 🙄). I’ll make sure to definitely use the rubric for the essays. I just recently got my transcripts evaluated today and I think I will only have to do the core classes. Can’t wait to start next month. Thanks again so much for the tips 😊.

I’m currently a student at Capella. I’m in the 4010 class. Did you have to download Kaltura for your video assignments? Or did you use your webcam on your laptop and turn it in that way?
I’m on the fence about this program because I’ve heard stories about credits possibly not transferring to a traditional school to pursue MSN/FNP. Do you have any insight on this?
I research and contacted about 15 schools before choosing my FNP program and not one school said they will not take my credit being that I went to capella.

lol 😂 no worries 😉. thanks for watching. 4000, 4030, 4010, 4020, 4040, 4050, 4060, 4900 (capstone). submit a paper every two days in first class to get done in one week. then you’ll have 4 assessments for the rest of your courses so you’ll have to submit 2 assessments within 2days the remaining two assessments you’ll submit every 2 days. if that makes since, for example, say u start on a Sunday: submit an assessment on tuesday, submit 2 assessments on thursday, and submit your last assessments on saturday. now sunday starts a new week.. OR start in a sunday: submit 1 assessment on monday, 2nd assessments wednesday, 3rd assessment friday, 4th assessment Sunday, but u must start your next class and another assessment on that sunday. Always be registered for 2 classes at a time so you can always be moving forward with no wait but always complete one course at a time. AND there you go! you’ll be done in 8 weeks. don’t wait for your assignment to be graded to start the next assessment, submit and keep going u can improve your grade at anytime before you complete the class
actually in the first class you can take 3 days to complete one assessment and two days to complete the 2nd then two days to complete the 3rd. that’s your 7 days. the second assessment can easily be done in one day tho and you can start your next assessment, then u can have a day off from homework if u get done in 6 or even 5 days. also you’ll most likely get a 3 day early start. I started on May 8th, classes officially started May 11th, so with me starting May 8thi completed the program in 8 weeks

I hope it's not too late to respond, but on average how long are each papers.? Do you think the content was too hard to follow, or do you think just the biggest challenge is finding the time to do the papers. I am thinking about doing Capella University after I get my RN license as some hospitals in my area have ASN nurses sign a contract stating they will be getting their BSN at time of employment. Because I think my main issue will be taking time to read the learning content in order to complete the assignment, but the actual typing/ research part I feel like I can do, because my whole high school school education only taught me how to spit papers.

Hi. There is no special instructors just take the first available instructor. I was only mentioning certain structures instructors who did not take long to grade assignments but there’s no special instructors

I will be starting 8/10 if all goes well. My concern about Capella University is whether my credits earned will transfer to another university or college for my MSN. /FP. Do you have info on what schools will accept their credits?
i I have not heard of any schools not excepting Capella University students. a lot of schools nowadays are catering to the working adult with the family so I don’t think because of the type of program it is it will hinder you from applying and getting accepted to other schools. I haven’t had that experience and the schools that I was looking at all was willing to accept me

Just talking to your phone using Notes or something like that then copy your notes and email it to yourself or copy your notes and paste it to word if you have an option on your phone if not just email yourself and then copy and paste it from your email to a word document
i submitted as soon as i got done with the assignment. But i’ve talked to some students who say they had professors who made them wait until the first submission is graded
I hope you completed the program. You just talk to your advisor and take the classes in the order you want. But I don’t know if things have changed now.

it’s not a lot of reading so you will be fine. The biggest part is time management. The assignments are average 4 to 5 pages

Hi. There is no special instructors just take the first available instructor. I was only mentioning certain structures instructors who did not take long to grade assignments but there’s no special instructors

I will be starting 8/10 if all goes well. My concern about Capella University is whether my credits earned will transfer to another university or college for my MSN. /FP. Do you have info on what schools will accept their credits?
i I have not heard of any schools not excepting Capella University students. a lot of schools nowadays are catering to the working adult with the family so I don’t think because of the type of program it is it will hinder you from applying and getting accepted to other schools. I haven’t had that experience and the schools that I was looking at all was willing to accept me
