    The ferrules are really good for doing a proper job! Even for making very thin wires big enough to fir propertly into oversize connectors

      I used a washer, but a 3D printed part might also work.

    As far as I know, they are called Jaws even in the UK.

    The best way to get good crimpers is to spend a lot more cash. You can tell the ones if got from ebay or aliExpress as they are at the back of the draw. My goto ones are second hand, but you have to hunt them down.

      Very true. Very true for most tools. Just thought I'd give it a go.

    My Jaw's came with some bend Sheet Metal Parts.
    like: ali _ c0m _ item _ 32814375295 _ html
    The Thickness i meusared is 1mm, or maybe glueing a Washer on every side will work too.

      I actually later tried a washer and that worked pretty well. Still think this could have been done better!

    For ferules, the best crimpers are the ring type, with 4 (my preference) or 6 jaws all around. For example Amazon B00H950AK4
