Hi buddy, its absolutely fine to use. Its just a little lumpy with rosin, I made it a bit thick, but you can add some into a tub and put ipa in with it. Appreciate its a little random, however having owned a labware company, I have various bits left over, which I tend to hand out to other makers. The other items may sit on your shelves for a while, but you never know when something crops up, and you will have that thing which is needed. By the way, the single larger syringe needle is for the gel syringe with the metal pusher.
I need a reflow oven as at the moment all the chips fly off when the board pops up at the end. tried laying the toaster on its side but they parts still fly off. only good thing is the parts do remain in the crum tray.
I have been using the Reflow Master by Unexpected Maker: unexpectedmaker.com/shop/reflow-master Seon knows best what oven you might need. But I am using a 9L 1000W oven and it works great. The higher the power, the better it will be able to follow the reflow profile. This in combination with the volume. So ideally; high power, low volume.
@@DustinWatts Hey Dustin, thank you very much. Yeah Seon good at the reflow oven. I’m soon to build one myself. I keep messing up using my hot air gun. And touching up with my soldering iron makes it look really bad when. My hands shake a little. Solder wick is my best friend 😂
@@DiyintheGhetto You can get pretty far with a hot air gun, but reflowing in an oven takes so much of the "stress" away from having to debug your board and finding out that the problem was a bad connection due to the paste not properly reflowing.
@@DustinWatts yes that is true. Problem with me is my hands shake a lot less then they use to. But still shake. Using a hot air gun still messes things up.
Loving the maker love!! I am the same - too many projects sat on the shelf waiting for that perfectly cut video - I gave up and just started making projects for the enjoyment 😇
In the US we also call them Pipettes.
Only maybe a different pronunciation?
Nice, really nice - some great products from even better community!!!
It is a fantastic community indeed! Which you are also a part of ;)
13:25 is it a powerbank or poweradaptor or both?
It is a power adapter, I misspoke ;)
@@DustinWatts thought so much :)

I really appreciate you sending this over! And I love the "randomness" of stuff it will absolutely get used!

What are you using now for reflowing?
@@DustinWatts I still do it the hard way by hand with a fine tip soldering iron. plus a hot air gun.
I would love to make my own refow oven. Where can I find a kit like that. And what oven would I need?

What are those projects for enjoyment you are talking about? :D
@@DustinWatts hahaha right?!! I actually make them and use them! Lol
I will guess a urine sample, I will watch the video later to find out ;-)
If that were true... I would go see a doctor! :)
@@DustinWatts That's why I thought it was a sample for the doctor LoL;-)
