Wow, he really took advantage of that brushless inrunner motor!! Great flying!! seems like the tail holds up better than the mcpx, am I right? Keep those videos comming!!!
this video got me more excited then a fat tic on a lazy dogs back :D hamish is an animal lol.. props to the video guy takes talent to film such a fast lil heli lol great job :) chuck
Thanks for your response, but there is more to scale and sport flying than being a noob flying a small fixed pitch helicopter. If you have ever seen the redbull helicopter do stunts it puts on a good show without performing any of the moves seen here. But maybe Heliporn was right, I'm talking to the wrong crowd here.
it's a personal skill challenge and most that have no hope, like myself, appreciate the skill involved to do it, Hamish is a very talented flyer of "All" R/C aircraft
You started it with your 'like it's having a seizure" comment. I would expect the same type of reaction if someone were to compare scale flying to 'like it's taking a dirt nap".
not as well, the mcpx is smaller and a bit more "simple" which takes crashes like a baws. This is larger and takes a heavier crash, also with the blades spinning faster for better 3d, they are also more likely to break. I wouldn't recommend the mcpx though, I had the version 2, and I disliked it heavily, in order to do 3d flying with it, you would need to mod it, and i don't feel comfortable modding my rc stuff because I am afraid that I will mess something up. Hope this helps, - Oliver
The plank pilots just aren't flying them hard right now. I've seen guys flying the 130X that will put you to sleep. If you want to watch high action foamie vids, then watch videos of guys really flying the snot out of the foamies, trick after trick after trick, just like this.
Apology accepted. I'm sure Mr. Scott is a better pilot than I will ever be. But my immediate goal is to fly large scale helicopters. I don't know of any models marketed as sport flyers or for scale so we have to "make do" with these over powered 3D helicopters. There are ways to tame them down and make them fly more scale like. The important thing is we all like helicopters so there is no need for animosity.
FYI, this heli was DESIGNED to be flown like that. If you want to see a heli hovering around and flying slowly, there are plenty of videos around of noobs flying MSRs.
Great Piloting skills, but I prefer sport and scale flying to 3D. I want to see a heli do what a heli is supposed to do...not flip all over the place like it's having a seizure.
@heliporn - Do I know you? I'm not your Grandpa, or anyone Else's for that matter. And even if I was, your insulting attitude is unwarranted. Is it so wrong to want to see a RC helicopter fly like a real helicopter? 3D is great and requires a lot of skill, but I'd like to see the 130X flying normal as well.
Great flying and an awesome little heli... I need one!.
Unreal flight Hamish - you Legend!
Now that looks like what the MCPx should have been from the start, awesome :) nice flying and serious little Heli, good job!
very nice flying skilllzzzz nice capture Mr Seeker!
Nice flying! Thank you for not dubbing music over the video.
The 130x is a great machine. I love mine.
skills that pay the bills...WOW !!!
Holyshit Hamish. That little thing is badass. I need the members of helifriends to buy me one!
Nice flying!

Is this Helli stock parts or has it been modified, cause it looks pretty awesome
Does anyone knows what connector is used for the battery? i'd like to order cheap batts b4 this heli arrives.
hm.... i cant keep up on the fast maneuvers i always looses orientation
how good does this heli deal with crashes as compared to the mcpx?
That things rips prettty good to be all stock. Whats under the hood?
Blade strike at 1:01 nice recover

Sweet.
Wow, good pilot, will you recommend the 130x?
I never could figure out how bouncing around a heli is somehow interesting.

Maybe I should've gotten a 130 instead of an 450 considering I'm a beginner.
Holy crap
Wow

Excellent pilot, but I'd rather not be this good; I find it very difficult to enjoy this kind of flying.

what a rookie...
but this is what the heli was supposed to do, if you want scale 3d flying go fly a real helicopter
blade sucks!!!!!!!
