Interesting and educational Vern, and I see Australia and New Zealand on a sign outside his shop ? wander why was that ? but now I know diff between a kalim and a carpet ! and wow the labour and detail that goes into one carpet or kalim ! as was shown by the owner, great video look forward to more re Turkey, guess you tried their pide bread ?
Interesting question Eric about the two Countries, don't have the answer for you, unless maybe he marketed to both of those places. So labor intensive agreed, imagine a big size rug and inching along trying to complete that. Tried the Pida style pizza woo hoo was a fav of mine ,ate it a few times a week. Found a great place for the in Selcuk/ Ephesus area and made sure it was my last meal before I went. have you had that before Eric?
