I like Kyle Dunnigan’s Bill Maher impersonation
Dunnigan's is perfect. Bill has a different perception of himself. He thinks he's a stud and a really charming and upbeat guy, so when he sees a smarmy and bitter impression he just doesn't think it's him.
LOVED the PATRICK BET DAVID impression.

He really did a good PBD impression, but Bill stopped it real quick.

But Bill Maher is also "online" and that's whose watching this so I would agree with you that his thought process behind this doesn't make any sense.

His impression of Bill is good. I read somewhere people hear their own voice different with their ears the way everyone else hears it. When I heard my own voice on a recording it was way different than i thought I sound. He was on Howard Sterns show and Howard said he didn't think it sounded like him.

@@virtualbeing5195 his entire schtick is near-humorless word association. I know Bill isn't in the sharpest frame of mind to catch every "joke" here, but the main problem was that they just weren't funny enough to be recognisable jokes. He must have said "i'm kidding" or similar about 80 times.

I'd go so far as to say it's one of the best impressions ever, because it's completely stuck in my head. Any time I watch Maher I think of Dunnigan's impression. "Really? You're one of those people. You're wrong. Okaaay?" If George Clooney came on and talked like himself Bill would be like "yes! Now that's a perfect impression of me!" That's where Bill's ego is.

@@jeffreyabelson7171 Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey were teenagers when they broke out as impressionists. This isn't a knock on Matt, I love his whole thing. But apples to apples in terms of age, and based purely on talent, I think Carrey and Murphy have to be in the conversation.

Matt Friend deserves an award for this interview! Not only because this was a brilliant example of his immense talents... But because he had a long talk with Bill Maher and Bill didn't once mention why he's not married and how he is anti- marriage and kids. That's a marvel!

How cool was that! It’s literally an up and comer chilling with Bill - with that fly on the wall greatness. Matt Friend is so quick, so well versed and respectful to Maher, not to mention that cat Is just crazy talented in his own right.
Matt is a perfect entertainer: always performing and never allowing a genuine moment to continue for more than a few seconds; never reveals himself. These are qualities that helps you survive in the industry. He has a three decade star career ahead of him.

Very funny show, Matt you're clearly very talented, intelligent and well versed on history and life, I offer you one suggestion, just slow down a little bit because the non stop comedic comments tend to overwhelm and create over stimulation. I look forward to seeing you continue your success.
