Bill must have felt like he hit the jackpot getting a chance to chat with Cameron Crowe. Bill knows what he personally likes music-wise, but Cameron is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to music and songwriters. I noticed that Bill wasn't drinking or smoking much during this interview. It was almost as if he wanted to keep his wits about him and not squander such a treasured opportunity to talk music with Cameron.

    Paul Simon:
" Many is the time I've been mistaken, and many times confused, yes and I've often felt forsaken, and certainly misused, but I'm all right, I'm all right, just weary to my bones, still you don't expect to be bright and bon vivant so far away from home, so far away from home , and I don't know a soul who's not been battered, I don't have a friend who feels at ease, I don't know a dream that's not been shattered, or driven to its knees, but it's all right, it's all right, for we lived so well so long, still when I look at the road we're traveling on, I wonder what's gone wrong, I can't help but wonder what's gone wrong, and I dreamed I was dying, I dreamed that my soul rose unexpectedly, and looking back down at me, smiled reassuringly, and I dreamed I was flying, high up above my eyes could clearly see, the promise of eternity, God's Son died for me, and I dreamed I was crying... For we came on the ship they call the mayflower, we came on the ship that sailed the moon, we come in the age's most in uncertain hour, and we sing an American tune, but it's all right, it's all right, you can't be forever blessed, still tomorrow's going to be another working day, and I'm trying to do my best, that's all I'm trying, just to do my best. Super disappointed had Cameron Crowe right next to him, he was 16 when he was interviewing the greats of rock n roll and was on Led Zeppelin’s plane with them for an interview , married to Nancy Wilson and bills lame billy Joel ,bashing the stones and Beatles ? Cameron could have been unreal to listen to but bill being a talkaholic had to kill it , so bummed

right on, bro. in 2022, the Gaming Industry pulled in $184.4B. music $26.2B and movies $26B. but video games keep the nerds off the streets so the cool kids can go out, party & get laid.

I am not positive about who said this but to Bill's point about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I think it was one of the Eagles (Henley?) said when they were inducted that being "famous" should not be the goal for getting into that Hall, being "famous" these days is not always a good thing, in fact it is often a BIG negative. Anyway as always thanks Bill for a great interchange with Cameron,.

I am stunned that Bill only has “I Touch Myself” from the Divinyls on his play list!! 😳 They are/were a stella band from here in Australia. Do yourself a good turn Bill and listen to more of their work, start with “I’m Jealous” and keep going.
By the way, Cameron Crowe was great, humble guy with very reason to be stuck up but he’s not.
