Devinci Kobain Deore 11S Trail Hardtail First Look

Let's take a quick look at Devinci's entry spec Kobain hardtail. This is North American produced bike made in Quebec, so that might be consideration for some buyers, but are you giving up certain features you'd get on similarly priced Asian produced bikes?
For me, I am looking for a bike with a decent suspension, drivetrain, and brakes. I don't mind changing things like tires and control parts. I think this bike is a strong contender, especially because it is currently available (as of 7/24/2024) for $1039 in this red colorway.
