- Jerry French goes through the steps to tie a slimmed down, summer version of the Dirty Hoh: the Schnidle Wiggler. Named after a side channel in Alaska, the Schnidle Wiggler is very "Schiddly": small, unobtrusive, and deadly. This is a great summer steelhead fly for rivers all over the western US and Canada. In sculpin colors it makes a great sculpin as well. This is as much a demonstration on how to use Ice Dub, Senyo Predator Wrap and ostrich in a composite loop as anything else. Enjoy!

I have some synthetic polar fiber put out by hairline. It comes crinckly or straight and makes bitchin shoulders. It has to be cut small for flies of this size but it comes in a hank like flash. I think you might like it. Also, Spirt River is now making a Seal x dubbing with UV (Seal substitute ) Stiff and UV which you said were two of your must have's in a shoulder. All the best to you.
