My grandfather fought in that hell on earth called Stalingrad between 42 and 43, every time I play this game and I pass above the soviet positions I imagine my grandfather is somewhere down there fighting for his life and Im providing cover from the air 😬
My grandfather was on the eastern Front too. On the other side. He survived. Got lucky. Hence why am here today. Id rather see the sim as a game as it is. And i am happy that we all can play a game and dont fight wars anymore.
@@SheriffsSimShack Definitely, my grandfather never had anything personal against Germans as his roots were from Germany and his family lived in Ukraine for 200 years, later during the war when the soviets entered Germany he even gave food to starving German kids on the streets of Eastern German cities, he was killed in April 1945, everything I know about him is from letters that he sent home and I still keep.
My Opa was in Normandy and Hungary. He was a tank driver, and was recruited when he was 16 years old. He missed the years for an education because he was a POW, so he was a mechanic for the rest of his life.
Sheriff, wanted to say that I bought the A-3 years ago on sale and was frustrated with it and avoided it, but after watching your video on proper ground handling, and after a lot of practice, I wanted to say thanks for all the help. I routinely take the A-3 up on Combat Box, and am normally outclassed by both the Allied planes and the human pilots, but I love it, want my money's worth, and have gotten decent at flying and fighting in it. I can definitely feel the difference between the three Antons in the sim and part of me always feels most comfortable in the A-3.
The new external textures/reflections and whatever exactly they did to the cockpit reflections is great. Made a big difference. I haven't played much in VR yet, still trying to get used to a new HOTAS rig, but I have a feeling it's going to look amazing.
Hello virtual pilots. I also love flying the ff190. I fly more often on the Combatbox server. I watched your video 6 times. I see that you hardly use the rudder (pedals). At the same time you shoot well. Shooting from under the hood with anticipation is at a good level. I often try to correct the shooting with the rudder and it turns out worse. Maybe don't touch the rudder? Fly like you just by controlling the eilerons, elevator and throttle?
Not looking up the exact writing now since I get asked that very often. but it warns that there is a explosive charge which blows off the cannopy and that you have to secure the firing pin incase of testing the functionality.
It's a warning about the explosive charge that blows the canopy off in an emergency. Reminding you to remove the firing pin before manual operation / testing.
Different. We recently measured that the stalingrad map is 300km from west to east. And I guess 150-200km from north to south. Other maps are larger. Rheinland certainly is.
@@SheriffsSimShack Is the Barmaley Children's fountain modelled in the Stalingrad ruins? I tried to find in a Po-2 but didn't spot it, even after flying up and down the West side of the city twice
Sheriff's Sim Shack alright thanks, one more question haha, I’ve noticed inconsistent or small stutters when panning with headtracking, keep in mind I have a good pc and getting a stable and locked fps of 100 as well but it’s just not smooth. I’m using open track and my track ir is at 60 hz so maybe that’s the problem but it’s smooth as butter on other games like war thunder, even Microsoft flight sim 2020 and I’m only getting 45 fps there!i was just wondering if you feel that too and it’s just an issue with the sim or what, thanks in advance

sending my love from Korea...great as always. Ive been goong through your list of videos during this shitty quarantine and it really helps cheers
We will all be through it eventually. May you (all) stay healthy.
I love that the devs finally got rid of those horrendous imperfections in the cockpit glass.
That La5 midway through was really on you. Thank goodness for teammates
That's why you don't deploy flaps and slow down. Boom and zoom, even for Ruskies.
the final no elevator landing was mental
Man what an awesome recovery mid video getting back to an airfield. Love your videos and your skills are beyond admirable.

Flying the Fw 190 A-3 on the icy eastern front. Played on the Wings of Liberty server during a twitch stream of mine.

At the end. . . Good landing, only one little bounce.
That defensive flat scissors was amazing, great flying!

What a beautiful ass machine, the 190 is
Thank you again Sheriff! Nice Video!
