from the steam reviews: despite the rocky start the first few updates were good, but a big update changed a lot of stuff (like health bars became hearts) and the fanbase responded negatively

It's a downer watching this, getting entirely sold on the game as a jaded DBD player, and then going to the Steam profile for Propnight and finding the balancing has been completely fucked since this beta and it's mostly negative reviews now.
For those thinking of checking it out: they DID add a hatch equivalent for the lone survivor left, but they also added in an Events system that basically lets the killer choose a map-wide event that screws over the Survivors.
