a) I am not 100% sure about the crashing issue, sorry
b) Launching the game without a VR Headset plugged in loads it in screen mode.

smth i’ve also noticed about old rr is that i feel like the hand models are like, weirdly a little more polygonal? i don’t know if that’s just me going crazy tho

Yeah, the models are slightly different. They also feel thicker in my opinion if that makes sense

How come the FirstEA has Quest 2 controllers? The version was from 2016, but Quest 2 was released in 2020.
I'm not 100% sure, but if I were to guess the game most likely gets the controller model from SteamVR and then renders them in the game.
EDIT: Got confirmation, I was correct.
It's openXR I believe

because this is a copy of the old version
The controller models aren't stored in the games files. Rec Room gets the controller models from SteamVR and then renders them.
