It's very traumatic expecially for the children (if you have) .The First Slap and i left with my 2 kids. I have never remarried but my former husband i Think is in the forth marriage. I got my official divorce years latter when i could afford. Woman keep Strong, God is Faithful even to all single parrents. Remain Strong in Him and His WORD.

You are right wanjiru. For me he hit me for the first time and I didn't take it serious, then the second time and again the third time and the beating this third time was the worst in my life time. I didn't leave and now he would intimidate me every time. He would sleep outside and when I ask where he slept, he would start telling he would beat me and I speak kiswahili yet I don't know it. But yesterday but one, I said that enough is enough and I packed my things and left. He had slept where I don't know so I used the chance and left .
