I’ve been using answr for about a year and love it. Definitely don’t wrap it or bend it, as much as you feel that it’s gonna be messier if you just lay on it. Wrapping it really does impact the process in a negative way. I don’t touch mine for 3 days straight before I bend it or wash it. I’ve gotten better results that way.

Thanks @ns23s I’m definitely impressed with it so far as well. I’m on week 8 now and it’s still working for me. I’ll be sure to leave it free the next time I do it. Thanks again for the tip. How long does yours typically last before you need to reapply?
Honestly now that I moved to FL, I would say like 3 good months but I was able to stretch it out to 5 months. If it’s not humid where you are, maybe 6 good months. The instructions only promise 3 months I think. One thing I learned is that even after it starts to fade away, we girls with coarse hair may think it looks terrible… but that’s just because we forget how much worse it was before we even used the product. Meaning, it really lasts longer than we think. We just forget how much worse or harder our hair is to manage without it. lol
I’ve seen pics of me before even using it and after I had it in my hair for 5 months and you can see that it is still more manageable with Answr than it would ever be completely natural. I hope I’m making sense! lol
@@ns23s good to know. lol I’m in South Florida so I’ll be in the same boat soon as summer hit for real. Fingers crossed I can make it to June “braids season” 🙂
@@ns23s Did you use the shampoo and conditioner from the answr too? MIne doesn't seem to last that longer 2 months at least.
@ No! I just use keratin friendly shampoo and condition. It is only meant to last 3 months max from what I understand (depending on how wavy or coarse the hair is to begin with). Mine lasts about 2 to 3 months and I love it because it fades away naturally instead of just having coarse roots. I would think it would last longer if I didn’t dye my hair as often as I do. I hear that this continued to be activated by heat so if you blow dry or straighten your hair every time, you may have better results than if you air dry your hair.

@@takins22 I wanna say it lasted almost three months for me. I will be doing it again in the early fall for sure. It definitely lasted longer than the salon experience I had with the texture release. I also shared an update in one of the vlogs, I’ll try and get it and make a video this weekend with that footage too.

Oh, I didn’t realize that. I’ll definitely do it again in the future and make sure I don’t wrap it. I sleep so hard so that’ll be a struggle.
